City of Dreams, City of Puppets Part 1: The Beginning of the Introduction

we start, near the end of academies "class times"...directly before everyone is set to go off to afternoon break, a 3 hour period in which the students can do...whatever the hell theyd like that is within the boundaries of the laws of physics and regular laws.

Argentum, Tragon, Zachary were set to depart from Physics class, run by Dr. Frank Einstein.
Dr Einsteins class, bluntly put, is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. most students end up falling asleep in his class...which doesnt matter to him one bit as he sometimes manages to put himself to sleep. A lot of students compare him to a zombie...which may not be far off from some sort of truth...

Jack and Danny were set to depart from English, run by a Mr. Sirius Lee.
Mr Sirius' class is medium pace, but he puts a lot of enthusiasm and energy into each and every lecture he gives. his energy is so contagious its profoundly difficult for his students to sit concentrate, as how erratically he runs around tends to draw the students' attention more than the actual lecture...

Sakura and Armin were set to depart from Math, run by Prof. Eddie Shun
Eddies lectures...usually go very very slow. a very thorough professor who makes sure to go over every little step to every little math equation. his lectures are so thorough homework is virtually nonexistent in his class...

Luke, Roxy, and Ruby are going to be departing from Biology, run by Mr. Boe Ring
Mr Boe Ring is highly, HIGHLY enthusiastic about his job...which is an understatement in itself.
even though biology is supposed to encompass many living things...his classes mainly consist of Plants. he is obsessed  with them. especially roses, which end up as the center of many a biology lecture.

and as a final note to all those leaving their classes, remember:
most students do not want an encounter with Principle Smilen Wave and the three prefects Kowalski, Rico and a boy everyone refers to as "Private" for some reason.
all 4 of them wear similar tuxedo-esque uniforms and are seen prowling the halls...a lot...like they think their some kinda undercover blackops teams... in short, they are all designated as "weirdos" and it has been deemed prudent by many people to not piss off principle Smilen, at all.

as tragon drifts off to sleep, he finds himself in a odd dream.
he is in an odd floating city

he is in the middle of what seems to be a town square with 4 arches leading off into different areas
A Mansion to the North

A Market District to the West

A Residential Area off to the South

and A Void of pure black nothingness to the East.



if tragon attempts to exit west...his progress would be halted by blades straight up erupting out of the ground infront of him.

if he attempts to go south...his progress gets halted by phantom strings wrapping themselves around the gate.

if he attempts to go east...he is blocked by a freaking wall of fire.

his only option is to go north, to the mansion that looks like it is legitimately haunted.

Tragon looked around, confused on where he appeared. His eyes looks around, seeing the options of what would be stopping his way. He looked north, where the mansion was the only thing have didn't have something that could kill him stop his path. He began to walk towards, walking towards the 'haunted' mansion.

[Rea]

as tragon draws closer to the mansion, the colossal front doors swing open and he is greeted by a very haunting laugh



it is clear something knows he is coming, he knows he is expected. but he has no choice but to continue forward towards the doors.

[Akaneia]

His feet began to ignore his orders. Tragon knows that it's not safe to enter that building but a mysterious force dragged him in. After hearing that chilling laugh, his spine tingled, but he couldn't leave the mansion. The mysterious force didn't let him.

[Rea]

as he enters the mansion and the doors close ominously shut behind him. his attention is immediately drawn to the farther wall, where there is a light shining on a single, painting that take up most of the wall

curious, he shall approach it to study it more closely

A seemingly abandoned mansion looms on the outskirts, towering above the neighboring houses. The front of the house had an elaborately crafted porch with a black rug, ancient greek-style columns, oaken rocking chairs and a small table with a dusty black vase on it. And on the final step, was a welcome mat where one would wipe their shoes off before stepping on the magnificent carpet. Inside the vase, was a black rose. Within the first floor were the family room, which was covered in ornate, black furniture with a wine-red rug in the middle of the floor and grey wallpaper, the dining room which had a long table and detailed red cloth covering it with silver cutlery and porcelain plates and bowls, along with assorted wine glasses and cups, and an old bedroom that seemed to have previously belonged to a child. The bedroom was littered with gaming systems, old cards and various assorted toys. The second floor, however, had a long staircase leading up to it from the family room, gold chandeliers and various vases containing roses at the top of the staircase. The other rooms were an immense study hall, and a library that took up the rest of the second floor. Finally, on the uppermost floor was one room. It was a dark and sinister looking room, and within it sat a young teenager sitting at the edge of his bed listening to music and reading the newspaper. He was wearing a black T-shirt, white pajama pants and a pair of headphones. His emerald green eyes widened in absolute shock as he progressed, his pale complexion grew as white as snow.. "Local students disappearing from Neo Dreamland Academy...? Local authorities still have no leads on any probable causes or suspects..?" He placed the newspaper down on his nightstand and shook his head dismissively before turning the lamp standing beside the newspaper off. On the nightstand were an old army knife, 2 drawers that held items such as body spray, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and old family photos that belonged to him. "Eh, whatevs. It doesn't affect me in any way, shape or form."
The young man picked up a deck case from his nightstand, placed it in a black coat that was hanging with the rest of his clothing and layed down in his bed, deep in thought The case was labled Auron Locke.
"I WILL restore the good name of the Locke Family and become known as the greatest duelist in the world! Mother and Father will HAVE to accept me as a Locke again! I don't care how many people I have to crush to make it, they're all weaklings compared to me!" He looked out to the balcony just outside of the bedroom with a determined fire in his eyes.

[Akaneia]

Due to he mysterious force that seems to be pocessing his body, he moves closer to check out the painting in great detail. "What a strange turtle ..." He said quietly.

[Rea]

the lights cut out, then back on, the ghost in the painting is gone.

they cut out again, then back on, the entire painting is now gone.

when tragon turns around he is immediately confronted with a horrifying sight

a ghost, the same one from the painting is staring him in the face...
and laughing at him.

[Akaneia]

As Tragon turned around, he was initially spooked. He was startled, but after noticing the ghost's odd shape, Tragon started to laugh alongside with the ghost. "Hahahaha!" He exclaimed along side the ghost, can't taking its shape and colours seriously.

[Rea]

"and who do YOU think your laughing at, boy? i have been trapped in that portrait for countless years...and now that im out, im gonna paint this town RED."

a bright flash of lightning shoots out of the ghost's crown and illuminates the room in its entirety...

it is filled with countless amount of ghosts. the same kind as the big one in the center, presumably he must be their leader.

[Akaneia]

The blonde guy slowly lost his laugher, before staring back at the ghost. "That's a great goal Mr. Ghost, but how do you expect to leave this place? There's phantom like things to the south, fire to the east and blades to the west. You also look like a giant balloon. I doubt you can hurt anything!" Tragon chuckled, noticing the rest of the ghosts. "Man, was I playing too many video games?" He thought to himself.

[Rea]

"you know nothing! We are boos! the more of us there are, the greater our power!!"

as if to emphasize this fact his crown charges, and builds energy...and more energy...and more energy...and more...and more

"you are too weak to even take on a single boo! now begone!"

he launches one gigantic bolt of lightning at tragon...and just as he is about to be struck...he wakes up from his dream.

[Akaneia]

Tragon suddenly woke up, sweating from the anticipation of the lightning bolt. "W-what was that?" He gasped, panting slightly from the strange dream. He looked out of the window, staring up to try to get the strange occurrence out of his mind. But he couldn't stop but to giggle a little. "That balloon, thinking he can take over the world? I need to lay off the video games." He said quietly.

[Zaio Volnutt]

Taking the card from Xavier, Sakura felt a cold breeze which was eerie as she senses a presence which suddenly appeared only to fade away as she took the card. Taking a deep breath she opened the paper revealing the card to be an Xyz card with the image of a golden beast with a number on its head its name on the text is.

“Number 56: Gold Rat……this is the key?”

Looking back up, she sees that Xavier is no longer here. To which she looked around and raised her voice a bit

“Xavier? Where did you go?” With no response she sighed as she looked at the card intently. She doesn’t know why but this made Sakura feel strange as if staring at it, is making her more determined to find Zach.

“This…..feels amazing, I can do this”

Shaking her head, Sakura realises that it’s getting late so with that done she places the newly acquired card into her deck box and continued her way home so that she can rest for the next day to come.

End Day 1 and Night 1.

Begin Day 2

today is the day of Dreamland Academies' big costume party one of the most anticipated events of the year as students get to break loose from the usual incredibly boring school routine, and dress up outside of the norm. be it they dress as zombies or power rangers. cowboys or aliens. the festivities begin 3 hours after the student's schoolday ends...

CUE THE MORNING ROUTINES!!

Auron stretches, yawning from the little sleep he had gotten the previous night. He drowsily gets up onto his feet, and changes into his usual getup: His signature black coat, black necktie, white T-shirt, black slacks and black boots. "I wonder *yawn* what's going on in town today." he says with a tired voice as he grabs the body spray, toothbrush and toothpaste from his nightstand and heads down to the bathroom to brush his teeth, then to the dining hall to prepare a cup of coffee.

Jack woke up from his deep sleep, how did he even sleep? even he doesn't know. The sun was rising on a crisp cold morning.

What day was it..? Oh! The costume party! Jack got ready, showered, got his hair to look half way presentable and then put on his costume, Red Gadget! It was is favorite one out of the 5. Jack made his way to school.

End morning routines...
flash forward to the end of the school day

Jack, Tragon and Armin, Sakura have been set to depart from the physics class... Professor Frank is asleep >.>

Argentum, Zachary, Danny set to depart from Prof Shuns Math class.

Luke, Roxy, Ruby set to depart from english.

4 hours until the costume party, being interacting amongst yourselves and deciding how you shall dress.

Argentum woke up with a slightly bad feeling even though nothing happened since the last nice. The Opera was a complete fiasco, but nothing that mattered at all. After taking a shower and dressing himself, he went to school, thinking about his costume to go to the party. IF he would go, at all.

(Sigh. Another boring class.) Was his only line of thought as he got everything into his backpack and casually started walking through the door of the classroom.

[Zaio Volnutt]

Everything is pitch black around her, she walked and walked but the road never seemed to end. Where does this road take her? She wonders, why am I even going there? The questions ran through her head over and over until a deep threating voice echoed in the darkness.

“Release me…..” This made the girl widen her eyes in fear, she wanted to run away but her feet felt frozen in place.

“What do you want with me!?” The girl cried out to which the voice simply responded with a more menacing aura.

“You need power, power that only I can offer….now…..RELEASE ME!”

With that cry she finds herself awaken in her bedroom. Sakura stood up looking around her room and then sighed in relief that it is only a dream. Looking at the time she realises that it’s the day for costume day. Immediately getting out of bed Sakura then proceeded to freshen up in the bathroom and then get on her costume which is a black ninja outfit with a long white scarf, putting the costume on she resembles Rose, Warrior of Revenge which many people find it suits her a lot. With that done she took off to school,

Early in the morning Armin remained in his room looking over by the window. He woke up too soon so the best he can do is just wait and then prepare himself when the time comes. He ponders over yesterday, and the possible idea that Duel Monsters is involved. It sounded silly to him but for some reason it is believable. Running his hands through the left side of his neck lies a long deep scar that’s usually kept hidden behind his choker. He recalls an incident that happened 6 months ago and how he got the scar it still pained him reminding of the incident but it was because of this that he felt that anything could be possible not even science can explain it. Looking at the clock he sees that it is finally time as the sun rises Armin did his usual routine of preparing himself. Due to the fact that today is Costume day Armin frowned slightly as he sees that the only costume he has left is a three piece suit that looks like a casino player would wear it. Wearing it he resembles more to the Sand Gambler.

*Sigh*,”this is such a pain but at the same time it would be a waste not to use it for this occasion I suppose”

With that said he gathered all his things and went off to school early.

During the morning, Tragon entered Dr. Frank Enstein's class with a yawn on his face. The strange dream kept him from having any decent sleep for the night, and now with word going around a costume party. He took his seat and took out his books, looking around the classroom to see that his professor is asleep as a thought came pass his mind. "Oh ... right. Weren't those two running from the opposite direction then I yesterday? I wonder what they were doing. I should check it out when i'm done with my classes." He thought to himself, staring at his books.

Zach just got home from his usual walk feeling energized and ready to head off to school. On his way to school he couldn't the the thought of the knife out of his head. "What if they were there to kill me what if I'm next..... I need to be careful nobody should know about this...."

Zachary approached the entrance to the school wondering if he would meet any new people. Zach reached down into his backpack and pulled out a card "Spirit" he said "They will always be with me". Zachary walked down the halls approaching Dr. Frank Enstein's class. Zachary saw a familiar face that being Tragon already there. Zach took his seat and pulled out his HW he had done last night and began reviewing his notes.

(SHIT POST AHOY)

Ruby met up with Luke and roxy after class. Ruby was still a little beat up but she was still doing quite fine, she was also a little bruised in the chest but they were starting to fade away slowly.

Attending physics class, the lecture was boooooring as always, the professor is asleep making it all the more boring of all boredom. Armin looked around seeing the students all messing around and to that he frowned underneath the textbook he is reading. Sakura is staring at her textbook however her thoughts were else where.

"That dream...it felt so real, but why?" She then recalls the card that was given to her and ponders on it "could it really be the key?".

She then looked towards Armin who was next to her and spoke in a quiet tone but made sure that he could hear.

"Hey can we meet up after this?" To which Armin looked at Sakura with a puzzled look but then simply nodded in response.

With that done they carried on with their work until the end of the lecture.

if Sakura and/or Armin is too look around the classroom(which they can safely do because the freaking professor is asleep ffs)

they will both be treated to an unusual sight,

at first glance it would be difficult for them describe what they see...but when they look hard enough they realize its the twins Xavi and Xavier, in their costume party costume.

Xaviers face has been painted Bone-White, and is wearing a beanie of the same color, and the skin around his eyes is painted black, giving him a skeletal appearance, wearing what appears to be a blue hoodie...and black shorts...and...Pink Slippers. . .

his sister however looks VERY less ridiculous in her outfit...her hair seems to have been cut slightly shorter than usual, she seems to have used a lot of make-up or something to color her skin a sickly, zombie-esque green.
and shes wearing a long, red dress.

the two seem to be fighting over a pair of scissors of all things

"no dammit, you cant have my scissors, if you wanted scissor you should have brought the not-sharp safety scissors"

Xavier is whispering to his sister in an aggravated tone as he take said scissors from her

"but i need SHARP scissors, they tie together the outfit so well"

she whispers back and takes the scissors from her brother

"frikkin...no. no one will even know who your dressed up as anyway...now gimme the goddam scissors"

He whispers back, taking back the scissors.

and they continue going back and forth in this manner until class ends.
