City of Dreams, City of Puppets Part 1: The Beginning of the Introduction

we start, near the end of academies "class times"...directly before everyone is set to go off to afternoon break, a 3 hour period in which the students can do...whatever the hell theyd like that is within the boundaries of the laws of physics and regular laws.

Argentum, Tragon, Zachary were set to depart from Physics class, run by Dr. Frank Einstein.
Dr Einsteins class, bluntly put, is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. most students end up falling asleep in his class...which doesnt matter to him one bit as he sometimes manages to put himself to sleep. A lot of students compare him to a zombie...which may not be far off from some sort of truth...

Jack and Danny were set to depart from English, run by a Mr. Sirius Lee.
Mr Sirius' class is medium pace, but he puts a lot of enthusiasm and energy into each and every lecture he gives. his energy is so contagious its profoundly difficult for his students to sit concentrate, as how erratically he runs around tends to draw the students' attention more than the actual lecture...

Sakura and Armin were set to depart from Math, run by Prof. Eddie Shun
Eddies lectures...usually go very very slow. a very thorough professor who makes sure to go over every little step to every little math equation. his lectures are so thorough homework is virtually nonexistent in his class...

Luke, Roxy, and Ruby are going to be departing from Biology, run by Mr. Boe Ring
Mr Boe Ring is highly, HIGHLY enthusiastic about his job...which is an understatement in itself.
even though biology is supposed to encompass many living things...his classes mainly consist of Plants. he is obsessed  with them. especially roses, which end up as the center of many a biology lecture.

and as a final note to all those leaving their classes, remember:
most students do not want an encounter with Principle Smilen Wave and the three prefects Kowalski, Rico and a boy everyone refers to as "Private" for some reason.
all 4 of them wear similar tuxedo-esque uniforms and are seen prowling the halls...a lot...like they think their some kinda undercover blackops teams... in short, they are all designated as "weirdos" and it has been deemed prudent by many people to not piss off principle Smilen, at all.

“A dangerous card?” Armin raised an eyebrow as he glanced a look at the twins, hearing that they are hunting it down and keeping it under quarantine made him wonder what is with them.

Sakura was silent by what she was hearing especially when the mention that bad things can happen over that card. “Could this be like what I got….” She wondered recalling her number card that she was given, wondering whether that person had anything to do with Zach's dissapearance.

When Armin wanted to ask more questions about the card the twins left the two in order to chase the stranger. Armin looking back at Sakura who gave him a nod and spoke in a serious manner.

“We should go too” with that said they both gave chase to that man believing that he could possibly be a clue to the case.

as Armin and Sakura gave chase...it didnt take them long to somewhat catch up to where the twins were, as they approached they could barely hear voices, as they turned the corner they were greeted by the sight of...

just the twins, Xavi holding an xyz monster...and discussing something with here brother.

"ok this is...Dystopia. card taken and quarantined..."

she turns and looks towards the exit, where there had been clear evidence a duel had taken place, but no sign of the strange man known as auron.

"I told you karmic retribution hurts, but you didnt believe me...enjoy your fate."

it was as if she was almost mocking the empty space, as if she was talking to something only she and her brother could see.

"ok, ok sis you've had your fun. weve got the card so we should go back to the party before...someone...follows...us..."

xavier had trailed off...as he had turned around and was met with the sight of Sakura and Armin

Catching up to the twins, Armin and Sakura stood back around the corner seeing that a duel had taken place and yet they were the only ones present. Eavesdropping on the conversation they hear Xavi mentioning about Dystopia being quarantined.

Noticing that she later was talking in a mocking tone to someone but no one was there as if the person was invisible to the two.

“This doesn’t look good.” Sakura whispered to Armin only to have Armin raise his hand motioning to the twins that they might be spotted. As Xavier moved on he noticed the two to which they both started to back away a bit by instinct.

As Zach realized it was getting later into the night he decided he was tired and started making his way out the school main doors. "This was a nice party but it was kind of sad I didn't meet anybody that new and ended up dueling one person, oh well".

Zachary had arrived at his house seeing that his father was already asleep he prepared to go to bed by taking a bath and getting something else to wear. He crawled up into his bed still seeing where the knife was in the wall. Too tired to do anything or think about anything too deeply he fell asleep for the night.

leaving that in the air the twins dash outside, the rain seemed to have dissapeared, along with the guy in the DK costume.

the party is now over, any students still at the party should depart home at once.

Danny got up on Argentum's shoulders and was amazed by the extra height it gave him. He felt like a giant. He was able to see the duels easily enough now. The sounds of duel disks and attack declarations filled his ears. He loved it. It was so immersive. It was almost magical.

However, all too soon, a bell rang indicating the end of the party. Danny's face fell. He said an awkward goodbye to Argentum and turned to leave.

After some time carrying the little boy on his back, a bell rang saying that the party has finished. When that happened, Argentum put Danny in the ground. "That was fast. Goodbye."

Argentum then headed home to sleep.

as Argentum sleeps...he finds himself in an odd dream...he is in a town square in a floating city

to the north of him, is a mansion. the arch leading there seems to be blocked by...ghostly chains...
a Market district to the west, with the entranceway being blocked by blades protruding from the ground.
a residential area to the south...the entranceway is blocked by very creepily glowing strings.
the only way for him to go is east, towards the void of black nothingness that oddly enough feels like there is...heat emanating from it, like hes about to step into a sauna...or a freaking active volcano.

Argentum heads to the East. "So, this is supposed to be a dream, hmm? Pretty realistic." As he goes toward it, he sees

as he steps into the void...its obviously oddly solid, not far in there is a single metal black box that blends in with the surrounding void rather well, except for the slight red glow emanating from it. if argentum attempts to pick up the box, its almost too hot to hold for too long.

the box has a very old very damaged lock on it, it looks like a strong enough impact could shatter it.

Argentum walks until the box and touches it, realizing that it's hot. After a quick analysis, he sees a old lock, and kick the box, aiming for the lock ((Of fucking course)).

the lock breaks off from the force of the kick...and the lid breaks off and flies backwards, further into the nothingness,

there is but one card inside of the box

there is an extraordinary amount of heat radiating from the card, it looks like it will burn Argentum's hand if he tries to pick it up...

as he picks the card, Infernal Flame Emperor, the card immediately bursts into flame, forcing Argentum to drop the card,
the flames eventually shape themselves into...something. the monster that was in the card, the Infernal Flame Emperor

"Finally, im finally free. do you know how long i was stuck in that box mortal? ive been stuck there for untold centuries, but now, you've released me. i am the Infernal Flame Emperor, and i will burn both worlds to ashes!!"

Knowing that this was a dream, Argentum started to play like that. So, he kneeled in front of the Emperor. "Tell me, milord, how do you plan to do that?"

Argentum had made a very wrong move, the Flame Emperor got highly pissed and shot off bolts of flame that shot by both sides of argentum, coming very close to hitting him, but not quite close enough.

"You Plebeian Vampire! you know nothing of this world! ...so allow me to... Enlighten you, this is not a dream, this place is as real as that "Neo-Dreamland City" place you call home is. but this place, this place is TRUE Dreamland. this place is a prison, for the 4 of us: The King of Spirits, The Emperor of Flame, The Master Puppeteer and the Lord of the Blades. once all 4 of us are released, Neo-Dreamland and True Dreamland will merge, and we will be free to walk among the mortals once more, and rule the plant as we have in an Era long past! listen well mortal, 2 of us are already free, theres just 2 more of us to go before the worlds merge and our conquest begins. if you actually think you can stop us, you better try to find the ancient records somewhere in neo dreamland...if they havent been destroyed that is, if that happens your chances are the same as finding someone still alive form that time period...ZERO!"

the emperor leaves that statement hanging in the air, before launching a jet of infernal fire directly at argentum...and just before the fire strikes him he wakes up from the "dream."

Exchanging silence between each other, Sakura and Armin could not say anything they were speechless to what was going on. When the twins finally broke the silence telling them that they should forget about it. Sakura just shook her head she just couldn’t believe what was happening, she isn’t even sure what was happening. As the twins took their leave the rain stopped.

Looking back at where the party was, they know it was getting late. Armin sighed shaking his head.

“This is getting even more stranger than ever. First talks of dangerous xyzs and now this....” Armin spoke in a calm manner and then proceed to walk towards the exit. Sakura still didn’t move as she was lost in thought of what happened. The number card she was given, the Dystopia card, the twins especially just who are they really. These questions remains in her head unanswered. Armin looking back noticed Sakura was not moving.

“Hey Sakura, are you ok now?”

As if a jolt of lightning ran through her brain she looked at Armin and nodded.

“Yeah…..” she then shook her head and sighed “I’m just tired.”

With that said they both went back home so that they can rest up and figure out the entire situation later on.

Argentum wakes up from the "dream", sweating. "Tsk. Guess i'll need to take a bath". Heading to the bathroom, he starts questioning about the level of reality of the dream he just had.

"Sigh. I thought i stopped believing in these things long ago. Anyway, this can lead to some fun, and his big mouth let out something that could utterly destroy his plans. I think that even immortals do the same errors as mere mortals, hmm?"

Finishing his bath, he put his pyjamas and went to his familiy's library and started trying to find something about the Ancient Records the flame spirit talked about. He wandered to the section containing the oldest books and started searching.
