I find this card to be a very good tech option and I myself run a minimum of 2 copies in a majority of it my decks. Mainly because this card is a great way to evade backrow. It won't stop Solemn Notice or Solemn Warning but it will get over many of the popular Trap Hole cards that exist. Even if not using it to safeguard yourself from backrow, you can use the 800 ATK drop by targeting your opponent. I think this card is flexible and should be given some consideration if you're running a deck that uses small monsters that eventually become Synchros or Xyzs.

Also take into account the "Damage Step" tricks this card can apply. It's a nice card as it can both be used as a spell and a trap allowing it for great implications in low tier play.
