This card can't be fit into every deck but it provides supreme advantage to decks that can use this. If your deck can afford a tribute for a summon than this monster can be a great option. In most situations that I like to do is sit on this card and let the turns pass until I can draw something useful. If the pieces are sit right and you play this card at the right moment, you pretty much have sealed the victory for yourself. If you simply sit on this card and don't attack, your opponent is going to be having a tough time rolling over this card since Special Summon is essentially turned off and not many monsters can run over 2400 ATK that can be simply normal summoned. If you've drawn some useful resources, then the game is in your favor. If you attack and Vanity's Fiend is destroyed, you can now start special summoning. If they have no response to Vanity's Fiend attack, then you can just continue bashing without worry since you are in a win-win situation. This card is definitely worth it for 1 tribute.
