Arena Section: Eternal Forest

A dark forest filled with dangers, snares, and wild beasts nestled between the Lily Swamp, Azure Mountain, Scarred Desert and Abandoned City.

Beast-, Beast Warrior-, Insect-, Plant-, and Pyro-type monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF while dueling here, while Fiend-type lose 500 ATK and DEF.

Silence fell on the darkened forest once again. A gentle breeze wafted past the two befuddled tributes.

The sound of crunching leaves could be heard approaching from all directions.

[Rea]

are you thinking-

yes.

so we should get ready for a fight.

yes.

can you tell what side it or they are coming from?

no, whatever this guy or group of guys is. he or they are good.

[Khina Bree]

???: "I'll make you both a deal. Duel each other. Right now and I'll spare the winner. Fair?"

THe voice seemed to come from the very air all around them

[Oriana]

"and if we refuse?"

[Rea]

"How about you give us an introduction first, if were gonna have to duel for a deranged forest lurker, we should at least get to know your name."

Xavi's demeanor had changed completely, from the usual twisted demeanor, to something else entirely. it was as if an entirely different side of him broke free and had spoken out.


Then the 2 voices broke into their own personal debate...

woah wait, how did you actualy...talk? you shouldn't be able to-

you don't get all the fun alright? for now I take the wheel against this joker.

hmph, fine. just save me some blood alright?

A small, metallic "CLINK" could be heard in response. Then again, and again. The sound of crunching underbrush picked up again, this time coming from directly behind the two tributes, "I am someone you don't want mad at you, Xavi."

[Oriana]

Ozpin looked behind them

[Rea]

He turns around, ready to confront his foe.

[Khina Bree]

"Oh sure, you can see me now if you really must. Now, would you kindly duel each other before I lose my patience?"

[Oriana]

"Who are you?"

[Rea]

"ok, last thing I was expecting, crazy dude in a suit. do we at least get your name Mr. Suit-man?"



This guy is funny, but how does he know our names? he's a mystery, but the thought of bloodshed is amazing♪

will you be quiet? please?

He flips a coin in the air and clears his throat. The coin never falls, "I am the host with the most. The unbiased and fair. I am, The Game Master."

[Derpy]

Ia was being as cautious as she could be knowing that there had to be people in forest. She couldn't have been the only one. Her stomach started to gurgle and groan, wanting the food that she had days before. That's what they did with tributes, fed them until they were nice and fat and then when they were out fighting for their lives, their stomach would give away their hiding spot. Such a dick move on their part.

Sighing mentally Ia watched her footing, being careful only to step on clear flat rocks and hefty roots that could withstand a blue whale laying on them. Those were the kind to make sure her presence wasn't noticed. Her aching,  hungry stomach was making her search for food a hasty, very non thorough search. But, what was that?

Head moved upwards, ears twitched in the direction of voices. Masculine voices. It was time to see who her first opponent would be for this year of the Hunger Games. She got as close as she could, an oak tree, rather large that could hide her slim figure.   

Tan hands grazed across the bumpy bark and stayed put after finding tiny knots in the tree's skin. Black and white eyes peered from out behind her safeguard and saw three men standing around and chatting. Two of them looked like other tributes and the one that caught her eye was the man in green. She wanted to get closer. Right foot went to the side to get a better look. SNAP! A twig beneath her boot shattered, giving away her position.

He stares at the, "Goodness, taking too damn long. Fine..." The man calling himself The Game Master snapped his fingers...and the Tribute beside Xavi vanished.

((Ozpin, you will find yourself in the Fields near the Labyrinth))

[Rea]

Did he just- Did we just see- Did we?

don't just stand there! answer me! this man just legitimately made another tribute disappear out of thin air! how can you possibly be so calm right now?!

We shouldn't be standing here! we need to RUN! NOW!

Xavi ignores the second voice going on and on and instead says

"I assume this concludes this transaction?"

[Khina Bree]

"Pfft, there wasn't a single drop of blood, err sweat shed here and I'm getting REALLY bored. Eleven still remain..." He starts taking steps backward, "and I have a lot of ground to cover. You'll have company again soon...tatty-bye~" He fades out of existence.

[Rea]

well that could have gone more...worse...

You Think?! We Coulda-

just stop it or so help me I will slap you...I mean I cant but you get the gesture.

Suddenly he burst out,

"Come out Come out wherever you are♪ I heard that twig♪ that means someones near♪"

in a cheerful tone.

Hey...HEY! you took control back, NOT COOL!

A voice like that of a clap of thunder echoed and rang out all over the forest. It was as if the entire forest had suddenly awoken.
From an opening in the forest canopy, a barell hurtled down
Straight towards Xavi's head

[Rea]

"Eep!"

Xavi darted out of the way to dodge the barrel before it crushed his skull.

Well its official... Not sure if Beelzecarp wants to kill us, or to help us.

Hopefully he will want us to w- wait...did you call him Beelzecarp? Hee Hee♪ you said it wrong♪

Just look in the barrel fool

Fine... Beelzecarp, Hee Hee♪

Ugh...

Xavi then goes to look at what is in the now Crash-landed barrel.

The voice of thunder roared with laughter as the barell barely missed Xavi
From within the barell Xavi would find
A matchbox with a dozen matches, a strong fishing net, a fishing rod and a "Get Well Soon" card signed by Beelzecath himself
"Go arm yourself, mortal..."

As he continues inspecting the crate,

Oooh fishing supplies, maybe we can catch a shark♪

sharks are saltwater fish you genius, and even then there are very few types of freshwater sharks, and the odds that this exact arena happens to contain any kind of sharks-

im forgetting somewhere aren't I...I forgot that stupid ocean didn't I?

well in any case, if we want to do some fishing...were going to need to go to the sea...which means...were gonna have to cut across the edge of the fields...and I have a feeling that it isnt going to be pleasant if we get caught up in whatever action is going on around there... so we should cut across only the farthest edges of the field to be EXTRA safe.

Xavi gathers all the supplies from the barrel,  then breaks a moderately long plank off the barrel...

"who knows... maybe I can make a spear with this♪

and then makes his way out of the forest and approaches the edges of the fields.[/color]

...When Rofocale arrives, he starts to search for a tree to climb and hide for the night. It was a easy task since Eternal Forest had some big trees that did fit what he was wanting. As he climbs the tree near falling two times, he got into a spot that he was nearly unseen.
