Section 05 - Azure Mountain

A lone mountain peak in the center of the Arena, said to have been the home to a mythic dragon once upon a time.

Fairy-, Thunder-, Winged Beast-, and Dragon-type gain 500 ATK and DEF while dueling here, while Zombie-types lose 500 ATK and DEF.

Akkarin spasms "W-wha? So the GM filled the little Lexie with evil huh? If you know where she is, that would help a lot."

He laughs for a long minute, "Dear child, who ever it was Game Master's doing? As for where she is...didn't you hear the big screen a few minutes ago?"

"Ah. Sir, you just remembered me. If we duel i get a "Prize", and i want that prize. How about a duel?"

Lixam giggled a bit, "Ooooh, Akky-boy wants a duel now that he remembers what all is on the line~"
His Duel Disk sprung open again, locking into the ready position, "I hope you know what you're getting into~"

"Of course i know on what i'm getting in. I could run, but that would look childish like Jackie-boy did"

Linty limped his was towards where where Akkarin was. Like all of the other cards the tributes dropped, it was glowing. So Linty had a clear indicator to see if his new friend was still alive or dead.

[Khina Bree]

Linty won't be able to see Akkarin just yet, but he'll definitely notice a dark figure to the west, visible in front of the now illuminated-by-lightning sky.

[Akaneia]

Linty sees the figure. "Another one? If he's going to put another annoying fight that the GM will make another crazy rule. But ... if he's there, then someone is nearby." Linty thought to himself, as he slowly made his way to where that black figure was.

((The dark figure he just saw isn't hooded actually))

As Linty approaches the figure, who is also marching towards him, their features will come into clearer, full view.


???: "Well well well, if it isn't mister chivalrous industrialist!"

[Akaneia]

Linty looks at the female in black walking towards him. "Wait ... so this is what the Game Master was talking about. Lexie, I'm guessing you want to duel me?" At this point, it wasn't a surprise to him, but now he has a reason to dislike Lexie, he isn't into young people looking gothic. At this point, he readied his duel disk.

[Khina Bree]

Lexie: "Hee hee, good of you to recognize me even with my new makeover. And how right you are. I just hope your little mechanical army is more reliable than little Liam's was. Those gears really were ancient."
She readies her duel disk as well.

[Khina Bree]

Lexie holds her head, shriek in horrid pain. Her voice reaching inhuman decibels. As she cries out, her hair begins to change from black to red again, and her body falls to the ground, but the screaming doesn't end. Instead, it deepens into a masculine voice and where Lexie was standing is now a wispy, shadowy figure.


???: "You...vile little wretch! You've ruined my new body!"

[Akaneia]

Linty covered his ears, trying to lower the sound that Lexie was making. The sound was so loud that he got onto one oh his knees. When she finally collasped, and the shadowy figure appears, Linty says, "This is what the GM was talking about. Go back to where you came from!" He yelled at the shadowy figure.

(Can you make a post on an update with the GM? And maybe Lexie's family?)

The girl's body lay lifelessly on the ground, her torso glowing and manifesting a card on her side. The shadow flickered, moving past, no, THROUGH Linty, sending a shiver across his entire being


???: "I would gladly go back, but I require...assistance to do so..."

[Akaneia]

Linty shivers, his entire body does. When the shadow finished walking through him, Linty's neck twitched. Linty turned around, looking at the shadowy figure. "Assistance huh?" He said, thinking. "Before you continue, what is your name, and what assistance are you talking about?"

This is when Linty hears the GM's message. "I already have 2, getting my 3rd card. Knowing you, you'll sell my soul to the underworld, mfer." He said, then returned listening to the shadow.

[Khina Bree]

???: "A word of advice: The Game Master never breaks a deal. Ever," the shadow faces Linty again, "As for who I am, you may call me Seeker. I require a means to leave this world. To return to the Void between realms and continue my destiny."

[Akaneia]

"Then ... for you to return to where you belong, you need a body. Do all the people you possess look like ... whatever that girl was?" Linty ask, thinking. He knows that he wants to win alone, his LP is very low. That and the GM might twist the words. Like if Akkarin and Linty become the winner, they die soon after.

"Do you know where the final tribute is? And keep talking." He said.

[Khina Bree]

Seeker: "Of course I know where he is. He is nearby, on the other side of the mountain here," he sighs, "Yes. I gave Lexie newfound powers by taking her body as my own. Power unimaginable to mere mortal."

The figure swoops away, seeming to lead Linty south
"If you wish to defeat him, then go south from here. If you plan to help me...then I can offer you something in return..."

[Akaneia]

After some thought. "Fine. I will help you find peace. But keep the possessions only for when you actually need it. I have defeated the empowered Lexie, and a former ally of mine, who turned into black dust once he was defeated again. My LP are too low for me to duel again. You lead, I will follow." Linty said.

[Khina Bree]

A pale, unseen smile forms on the Seeker's face

Seeker: "Oh, do you refer to the one known as Xelon? Or...Leon?"

Seeker floats south slowly, always facing Linty

[Akaneia]

Linty's legs froze. He was going to follow a figure to an unknown location. Without a 2nd thought, he said this. "I change my mind. I'm going to finish the games. The Seeker, good luck trying to find someone else more willing to help you." He said, before and began limping to the other side of the mountain, which will take him hours to do so.

[Khina Bree]

Seeker: "You insolent whelp! I am Seeker! The shadow of all! The darkness eternal! You will not resist me!""

The voice lowers in volume as the shadow fades away.

[Akaneia]

"I have beaten many in my path. And I bet these cards won't even do anything." Linty said, pocketing the Lexie card. "I should get the games over with before he gets my body as well. But my eyes are keen and my sense are sharp. Factory life style." Linty muttered. He continues to monologue until he reaches Akkarin.
