Primal Galaxy Tournament

This is the largest tournament in the history of... me actually. I still haven't broken my Number Hunters record from last year, I mean with 50 members and a modified swiss it was a long term tournament that lasted 5 weeks. Now it's time to break that old record and begin a new one.

PRIMAL GALAXY:
The rules will be posted below on different weeks. The tournament is set to begin on June 29th. THAT's RIGHT SPELLCASTER DAY! It will last for multiple weeks throughout the Summer Break just like Number Hunters. The Deck restrictions will be published 24hrs before the tournament begins and people will get many days to finish matches and gain Ratings. With the 24hr system being used, players will get a last minute notice, that way, no one can begin working on their Decks, because they never know what might be banned.

RATINGS:
A modified ELO system will be used to calculate rankings. It works after a win-to-ranking system. Every type of Special Summon will have a specific advantage during a match, and match rules will be modified too. This is something unlike any other tournament you'll ever see! Depending on your opponents Rating you will gain or loose a Rating of: Every time you win you'll gain a Rating of 10, Every time you lose you'll loose a Rating of 5.

First Rounds:
The first round will last 3 weeks and then we will translate to a modified swiss system for another week. Then, of the last 2 weeks we will result to a Top 16 Match system.

The First Rules Revealed:
Here are just a fraction of Special Summon Advantages and Modifications:

- Pendulum: Every time a player sets a card into the Pendulum Zone, depending on the side of the scale, you may use one of the following effects:
1.) Left Zone: You may search your deck for one Pendulum monster from a scale of 2 to 8 and add it to your hand.
2.) Right Zone: You may discard your hand (at least 1 card) then draw cards equal to the difference in your Pendulum Scale from the red to blue.
If you chose to use this effect, you must discard 1 Spell or Trap Card from your hand.

how does it exclude the magicians? i see how it completely screws over my DDDs and happily qliphorts but i dont see how it affects the magicians
