During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Galaxy Cyclone" once per turn.


Which card do you think is better?

Mst has more utility being a Quickplay spell card being able to stop cards like fiendish chain and tenki.

MST. But you can play Cyclone in Satellars for example, because you can use the effect of Tsukuyomi and send it to graveyard.

MST unless your deck runs a lot of discard/milling options that can get cyclone in the grave fast.

Mystical Space Typhoon is and always has been our staple backrow destruction card due to its utility and being Quick-Play, letting us take care of problem cards during the opponent's plays.

Cyclone can do a lot of the things MST can do, but isn't as diverse in its capabilities. It does however have the whole "reusable" bit going for it.

It all comes down to preference and deck.Some decks will do better with MST and others can make better use of Cyclone. Lightsworn, Stellars and even mill decks will make use of Cyclone more than they will MST. (Stellars would actually benefit from both cards honestly)
