menial fanfic chapter 1: introductions

Saren: all is going according to plan, the xyz dimension will belong to us within the week (and their piece of the puzzle will be ours, that will be 2 out of 6 pieces) mwaahaha, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
*intro plays*
*shadow, Drake Night and murilo had stopped their duel runners, shadow wanted to tell his companions something*
shadow: well you know the meeting all of the leaders of the dimensions have..... well oto-san wants me to follow him there :/ but i was wondering if you could follow?
drake: of course
murilo: same as friendemy
shadow: thanks, i think your getting the long end of the stick though, i have to hang out with some snobby kids from other dimensions while you can go around the place and check at standard
drake: we have to walk rather then use our duel runners D:
shadow: *smirk* i didnt mean literally, but if you dont watch out i´ll might make it reallity
murilo: lets just have one last turbo duel before we go back
*meanwhile in the xyz dimension*
servant: it is time my lord
azmain: you dont have to call me that
servant: of course my lo-...azmain
azmain: *sigh* call me whatever you want
servant: thanks my lord
*azmain began to walk out but the man suddenly brought out a duel disk and threw a duel anchor at azmain´s duel disk*
azmain: what the?!
servant: i was sent by one of your rivals, you will be turned into a card and his odds will increase
azmain: im not dumb! i could figure that out by myself, however you are insane to think you can win *brings out duel disk*

*Lord Saren was smirking to himself again, the meeting in the standard dimension had been to good of a chance to pass up, they would be able to take over standard without any one getting turned into a card if all went according to plan*
*intro plays*
*shadow, drake and murilo came trough the portal to the synchro dimension togheter with the royal guard and the ruler of the synchro dimension, Lord Raven Dark*
raven dark: shadow you should go to the heirs from the other dimensions, and you *looks at drake and murilo* should check the strengh of the other dimensions elite, it could be usefull knowledge
shadow: *grimaces* allright
drake: aye
raven dark: and shadow do not show them how you duel, it might be bad for us in the future in case something like the last rebellion happens again
shadow: allright (not even allowed to duel) *sigh*
raven dark: good
*meanwhile azmain and several of his half brothers and sisters come out from the portal to the xyz dimension*
BLB97: *runs up to azmain* heh, he should have known better then sending such a weakling to assasinate you, only i am strong enough for that
azmain: i know it was your assasin
BLB97: do you really think that of me? i am no fool, i know that only i can beat you
azmain: you havnt dueled any one from another dimension?
BLB97: i dont see any reason to, the xyz dimension is the strongest, we did most of the work beating down that rebellion a couple of years back
azmain: you forget that slightly less then half of the forces were pendulum and that synchro had a few small teams going to key locations
BLB97: they are still no match
azmain: i dare you to beat a duelist from an other dimension like *looks over at people from other dimensions* like one of thoose 2 *points at menial and murilo*
BLB97: i can take them both on at once *goes over there*
azmain: we shall see *goes to watch*

*drake and murilo was talking when suddenly some one dressed in black clothing (when you went to the standard dimension you had to wear clothes in colors matching your dimensions summoning method)*
drake: hey there xyz duelist, what brings you to these humble servants of synchro *smirks*
BLB97: i can tell from your duel disks that you are duelists, i want to challenge you to a duel
murilo: me or friendemy?
BLB97: both
drake: hold on there! there is no need for that *whispers to murilo*
murilo: *nods*
drake: i´ll duel you
BLB97: allright but you´ll regret not accepting my offer of 2 vs 1
*meanwhile where shadow is*
shadow: (ugh, this is so anoying, these people are so full of themselves.....)
azmain: (hmm that synchro duelist over there.... my plan works great, my rival is still dueling that synchro duelist while i am trying to get support from other dimensions, that synchro duelist looks like he might be usefull to have on my side) *walks up to shadow* hey there, you seem like a powerfull....
shadow: im not interested in flattery
azmain: (this is gonna be harder then i thought) well who are you anyway?
shadow: i am the heir to the synchro dimension, shadowmaster67, and you?
azmain: i am azmain, future leader of the xyz dimension, your support would be very apreciated, and i remember my allies
shadow: are you trying to bribe me?
azmain: listen, point is that with your support me getting the power in the xyz dimension is much easier and i would repay that by helping you once you have taken over after your father
shadow: wait wait wait! hold on! arnt you the heir?
azmain: yes and no
shadow: what do you mean by that?
azmain: what i mean is that the ruler of xyz dimension gets to have as many wifes as he wants, he gets at least 1 child with at least 3 of them and then they must compete with each other for the throne
shadow: isnt that overly complicated?
azmain: it is to bring out the most suitable candidate
shadow: .................
azmain: so will you help me or not?
*a loud explosion is heard*
shadow: WHAT WAS THAT!!!
azmain: it came from the big meeting room!
*every one run there but when they get their they see lots of pendulum dimension soldiers dueling against the leaders of the dimensions and their body guards but the leader of xyz, standard and synchro wasnt there*
shadow: WHAT IS HAPPENING!
*one of the pendulum soldiers turns around and smirks*
pendulum soldier: you better accept a new ruler kid, for as our glorious leader will counqer the rest of your pathetic dimensions *smirks*
azmain: shadow we should find the leader of standard!
shadow: your right, lets go!
pendulum soldier: your not getting past me! *duel disk activates*
azmain: we dont have time for this! i´ll finish this quick, i start of! i set one monster in defence mode and end my turn
shadow: werent you supposed to actually beat him?
azmain: i know what im doing
pendulum soldier: pathetic, my turn, draw! i normal summon qliphort shell! when this card is normal summoned without tributes its attack becomes 1800 and its level is reduced to 4, now shell attack his face down monster!
azmain: that reckless are we? my set monster is this! dragon of light numinex! when numinex is destroyed i am allowed to summon him back to the field as well as summon an other numinex from my deck however they are banished during my next end phase regardless of where they are!
pendulum soldier: that was to be expected from an xyz duelist, summoning 2 monsters of the same level
azmain: wait there comes more! when there is 2 numinex on my field his level becomes 8! *4--->8*
pendulum soldier: fine, i end my turn
azmain: my move, i draw! now with these 2 monsters i create the overlay network! and xyz summon! come forth rank 8, dragon of light Odahviing! *overlay network is built but suddenly interupted and it rewinds* WHAT?!
pendulum soldier: ahahaha, dont you know? if you are in an other dimension then your own you need a special source of power to be able to perform the summoning method?
shadow: i´ve never heard about that
azmain: *growls* i end my turn with one card face down *the 2 numinex explode*
pendulum soldier: now it is my turn, i draw! i normal summon qliphort alias trough its own effect, its attack also shrinks to 1800 and its level to 4, now alias and shell attack him directly!
azmain: not so fast! i activate my face down wall of guarding light! this stops any monsters with 2000 or less attack piints from attacking untill the end phase!
pendulum soldier: i end my turn then
azmain: i draw! (hmm, if i could xyz summon i would have won by now but since i cant i´ll just have to do this...) i normal summon dragon of light mirmulnir in attack mode! when mirmulnir is summoned i can special summon an other dragon of light monster from my hand, come forth level 8 dragon of light krosulhah! (atk: 2100 def: 1000) mirmulnirs ability activates! once per turn i can tribute this card to special summon a dragon of light monster from my hand! come forth dragon of light Sahloknir! (atk: 2200 def: 1000) however its effect is negated, now i activate the magic card dragons judgement! untill the end phase when a dragon of light monster destroys and opponets monster they take their monsters attack in damage to their life points!
pendulum soldier: WHAT!?!?!?!?
azmain: now sahloknir and krosulhah attack his monsters!
pendulum soldier: GHAAA! *LP 4000--->0*
azmain: we gotta move fast now!
shadow: .......... uh? oh yea your right!
*they both run trough the corridors*

*after running for some time azmain and shadow find the leaders of standard, xyz and synchro, they are behind a improvised wall of fallen furniture and some other stuff, a few other people are their includinng.... drake, murilo and BLB*
*intro plays*
shadow: drake, murilo, outo-san! your alive!
murilo: aniki!
BLB97: *sees azmain* you tried to trick me didnt you brother?
raven: shadow your alive!
*shadow and raven go to talk in private while az and BLB discuss with the xyz leader how to handle the situation, after some time raven and shadow returns*
raven: drake i am realesing you of your oath
drake: WHAT!?!?!?!
raven: *holds up a hand to silence drake* i have a different task for you, there is a girl in synchro dimension, she lives in the satelite *brings out a photo* you have to find her and protect her at all cost untill this rebellion is dealt with
drake: why is she so important?
raven: just do as i tell you there is no time to explain! murilo you and shadow have to follow me *shares a look with the standard and xyz leaders*
xyz leader: azmain, BLB return to xyz dimension and prepare it for battle! war is coming

*BLB, azmain and drake had managed to sneak out of the castle but the real problem would be getting to their respective dimensions, pendulum soldiers were guarding them and going trough the portals*
*intro plays*
*at night they are still trying to figure out how*
drake: even if we can get past them they are invading our dimensions and will just keep coming while the portals are active
azmain: so what do you suggest?
drake: that we blow up the portals on the other side, that way these would be deactivated and will buy us time untill the rebellion can be dealt with
BLB: even if that works if they manage to take over standard and find a way to the other dimensions they will have an even greater advantage, and becides these people have duel disks that materialize their monsters for real giving them further advantage
drake: that gives me an idea....
BLB: what?
drake: isnt the entire capital of standard able to activate one giant action field?
azmain: yes it is
drake: if we manage to activate it and do an extremely powerfull attack to knock out the pendulum soldiers we can then deal with them then and be gone with them more permanently
azmain: its risky but it could work
BLB: allright but we better do this before the sun comes up
azmain: right, the controll room to the action field is in that direction
*once they are outside the controll room*
BLB: they only have 1 guard here, they clearly doesnt expect any one to try and pull something like this of
drake: if i take care of the guard and draw the pendulum soldiers attention to me you have to get to the controll room and activate the action field fast
azmain: allright, then its settled
*drake runs up to the pendulum solider while azmain and BLB runs past him*
drake: im your opponet!
pendulum soldier: you will regret this *smirk*
