Mada fanfic - Power Within EP 3: Galactic Dragons' Descent

Shadow grasped his pendant in hand. They had been established in the ruins for a month and 2 weeks by now. He walked down the ruins, into a strange room filled with a large obelisk with the same Dragons engraved into it as on his pendant, and it was also made of the same materials. Shadow studied the huge stone carefully, until his pendant started glowing with a fierce aura. All of a sudden he was transported to the same field that he had seen in his vision before the clash with the Barians.
"Your destiny, young Shadow, is to destroy the Barians, and their leader, for you are the bearer of the Numeron Code, as well as the Photon Dragon. However, should Tachyon prevail, your world, as well as Astral World are doomed." It was the same strange voice.
"I need to know more! What is Astral World?! What is this Numeron Code?!"
Shadow shouted in frustration.
"You will know soon enough. However, you must first unlock the true form of the Galaxy-Eyes, as well as the power of Photon."
Shadow reached his hand out as a light enveloped him, transporting him back to the room he was standing in. He placed his hand on the strange Obelisk, and his extra deck glowed. He opened the duel disk, and there was a blank Xyz monster. "Numeron Code.... True form of Galaxy-Eyes......" He looked up through a gaping hole above the Obelisk in the ceiling at the sky. "I will follow the destiny that has been layed out for me!"

Stardust snuck out later that day under the cover of darkness. He wanted to go back to Mada and fight the Barians head-on. Little did he know, Azmain was following him. "Just what do you think YOU'RE doing mr. Stardust?"
"._. Umm...... Nothing -3-"
"Yeah, okay, so you are sneaking out in the middle of the night, sticking to the shadows, acting paranoid, on the way back to Mada's ruins, yet you are doing 'nothing'. Yeah, I totally believe that."
Lint walked out to the courtyard rubbing his eyes.
"Gosh darn it Stardust, if I wake up to your shenanigans one more time, I'm gonna flip on you."
"._. I just wanted to defeat the Barians. I was trying to help....."
Lint readied his duel disk.
"Unless you want a punishment, you'll have ta beat me in a duel. Muh Wurmz'll shrek ya'. Shiggy."
Stardust readied his. "DERP O3O"
Meanwhile, a sinister presence was descending throughout the castle ruins. Shadow was still in the antechamber, sleeping next to the obelisk. All of a sudden, a mysterious figure was looming in the doorway. It was BLB.

BLB woke Shadow with a kick to the face.
"GET UP! It's time to settle things for how badly you humiliated me earlier!"
His duel pad readies.
"Ugh, just 5 more minutes..... Zzzzzz......"
BLB kicked him again, and Shadow started, with his senses alert.
"FINE! You asked for this! Photon Transformation, GO!"
"That's more like it! And Shadow boy, I'll start this duel off! I summon Heliosphere Dragon to the field! Ill set 3 cards and end my turn."
"My move, I draw! This card will work nicely! I activate Photon Sanctuary! This lets me summon 2 Photon Tokens with 2000 atk in defense position!"
"Keh, you don't expect to do much with those do you?"
"That isnt all! Ill tribute my Tokens to special summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon to the field! Ill set 2 cards and end my turn!"
BLB clutches his chest. "This card again...... I draw! I summon Mythic Tree Dragon! With this card on the field I can special summon Mythic Water Dragon to the field! Now they both become lv 8! Ill overlay Mythic Tree and Water Dragon! Be born, Numbers 107, Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!"
Shadow clutched his chest as well.
"This duel is going to be tougher than our last.... But how come this is happening now?!"
BLB smirked.
"I special summon Radius, the Half-Moon Dragon! He becomes level 8 since he was summoned by his effect! Now I use Heliosphere's ability to become lv 8 since Radius is out! I overlay these 2 monsters to Xyz summon Dragluon! I use Dragluon's ability on Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!"
Shadow winced, then remembered his facedown.
"I play my trap, Breakthrough Skill, negating Dragluon's ability! Since I negated your monster's effect, I can summon this! A monster that has been created through the bonding of Cyber Dragon and the Galaxy! Cyber Dragon Galaxy! (Lv 5, Machine, LIGHT. 2600 atk, 1000 def. When you negate the effect of an opponent's monster by a trap effect, you can special summon this card from your hand as a level 8 monster. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks during the turn it is special summoned. If you control "Cyber Dragon" this card can be normal summoned without tribute. This card's name is treated as Cyber Dragon while on the field or in the graveyard.)"
BLB stared in shock. "How does that card even exist?! No matter, Battle Phase! I use Tachyon's-"
Shadow cut him off. "Another Breakthrough Skill!"
BLB looked at him furiously. "I end my turn!"
Shadow grimaced at BLB's field. "I draw! I normal summon Galaxy Wizard and use his ability to become level 8! I overlay my three monsters to summon Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon! Now I play Heavy Storm from my hand!"
BLB's eyes grew wide. "Oh no!"
"Oh yeah! And now I used Neo's ability! He is at a whopping 6000 atk points, and can attack three times! Go, NEO GALAXY BURST!"
BLB's monsters were killed off, but his LP remained.
"What is this trickery?!"
BLB was laughing psychotically.
"Heheh, HAHA, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Shadow! I played the Trap Card Spirit Barrier, and chained Fake Trap to protect it! I took none of that damage!"
Shadow angrily glared at BLB. "I end my turn with a facedown."
Lint was wrapping up his game with Stardust.
"Cheeki Breeki Iv Damke! Worm King, Xex and Yagan, finish 'em! Muh fabulous Wurmz! are victorious!"
Stardust sighed as the others took him inside.

BLB continued. "I activate Xyz Revenge! This lets me bring back an Xyz monster in my grave if you possess one as well! Then it steals one of your monsters' materials! Come back Tachyon Dragon! Now I play Rank-Up Magic: Barian's Force to Cxyz summon Neo Tachyon! Barian's Force steals another material from Neo Photon! Now I activate Stoic Challenge and equip it to Neo Tachyon! ATTACK TACHYON!"
Neo is destroyed, Shadow takes 3600 damage and flies into the obelisk.
"HAHAHAHAHA! I END MY TURN!"
Shadow gets up with difficulty. "I activate Xyz Reborn to bring back Neo Photon and attach this card as material to the summoned beast! Now my turn! Draw!"
His trenchcoat turns to a blackish hue with blue light glowing from the white accents.
"I overlay Neo Photon! FULL-ARMORED XYZ CHANGE!"
Pulls out a black, oversized longsword and throws it through the overlay vortex.
"My soul, embodiment of light, it is time to gear yourself with the skin of war! Show the darkness your fearsome fangs! GALAXY-EYES, FULL-ARMOR PHOTON DRAGON!"

Shadow stared, awestruck by the amazing dragon.
"So this is Photon's power....."
BLB raged. "NO! I CAN'T LOSE AGAIN!"
Shadow laughed. "I use Full-Armor's ability! By using 1 material, he will destroy Neo Tachyon! Battle Phase! Go, Full-Armor Photon Dragon! Attack his lifepoints! Full-Armor Photon Stream!"
BLB's LP drop to 0 and he is flung against the wall.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
All of a sudden, a dark aura surrounded him.
"NO! I can't go back to Barian World yet! I CAN'T!!!"
BLB disappeared as he did that fateful day before.....

That morning, Shadow woke. He grasped the new Photon Dragon in his hand. "I have awakened Photon's power, but what is this Numeron Code....?"
Azmain approached Shadow.
"Shadow, the Numeron Code is the key to defeating the Barians and awakening the true form of all Galaxy-Eyes: Numeron Dragon. If you are seeking it, I may be able to help with your search."
Stardust bounded into the room
"I can help too o3o! Just smell my cashewz -3-"
Azmain slapped Stardust. "Enough of that silliness! We have much work to do, and it involves being SERIOUS."
Lint, Murilo and Menial followed.
"Shiggy Diggy Iv Damke. Howdy doo."
menial looked at Lintleth. "Do you always have to say stuff like that?"
Lint grinned. "It's muh catchphrase m8."
Murilo piped up. "So, when are we heading out?"
Azmain smiled at them. "VERY SOON! "

Meanwhile, in Barian World....
"Kabingo! I didn't mean to endanger us! I was just trying to-"
"ENOUGH! Blb, you have diappointed me yet again. I am through with this. You will be accompanied by me with each task you do, each expidition outside of Barian World."
Azure chimed in. "Don't you think that's a bit harsh Kabingo?"
Xavier butted into the conversation. "Azure, don't question it. You know what happened when the LAST person decided to..."
Sketch laughed. "Does that even matter?! Hey, Tactician, next time we run into one of those Mada fools, crush them where they stand!"
Tactician scoffed at this suggestion. "Again, I'd rather lock them out of their options with Shock Master, or my Star Seraph Xyz."
Don Thousand interrupted angrily. "You all need to stop being so incompitent! These are inexperienced ACADEMY duelists! What is so difficult about taking them down?! Whatever, that does not even matter. Just go back out there, and dont come back without them!"
