A guide to Six Samurai.
Hey everybody! I'm going to post another guide like my Blackwing guide here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If you haven't read it, check it out!
Anywho, I'm going to talk about another deck I have experience with! Six Samurai!

"Six Samurai are a glass cannon." ~Lintleth.
This is another relatively easy, fun and cheap to play! Six Samurai are all about the offense, however they also rely on having other Samurai out to fight by their sides. Isn't that awesome?!
Anyway, there is only 1 real way to play the deck, and that's focused on controlling and OTKing the opponent with your various lv 5-6 Synchros and rank-4 Xyzs.
The core:

x3 Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan
This card allows some great rank-4 and level 6 Synchro utility, and also combos with Asceticism of the Six Samurai, which I will explain later. His effect lets you spam him out when you control a Six Samurai not named Kizan. Also, if you have 2 other Six Samurai out, he gains 200 atk.
x3 Kagemusha of the Six Samurai
This guy is your main Tuner, and has the built in effect to force the opponent into targeting him with a card effect once per turn.
x2 Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki
When this guy is normal summoned, he brings out a team mate with him that is level 4 or lower, letting the guys who cant jump out on their own come into the fray! Also, if you control another Six Samurai not named Kageki, he turns into a 1700 beatstick!
x2 Elder of the Six Samurai
This guy is an Asceticism combo with Kagemusha, and can spam himself if your opponent controls a monster and you don't.
x2 Legendary Six Samurai - Enishi
He adds a great removal/control aspect with Asceticism. He's great even as a normal summon or a summon with Kageki's effect.
x1 Legendary Six Samurai - Zanji
Just an Asceticism combo with Kizan. Thats all you need him for
x1 Irou
Another Asceticism combo, but you can go into him through a buffed Kageki.
x1 Grandmaster
You can play 2 if you desire. He can be summoned through Asceticism+Buffed Kizan.
x3 Six Samurai United
This card symbolizes their teamwork. When a Six Samurai monster(s) is summoned to your field, it gets a counter, a maximum of 2. You can send this card to the grave and draw 1 card for each counter on it.
3x Shien's Smoke Signal.
This card searches a lv 3 or lower Six Samurai from the deck.
x3 Reinforcement of the Army.
This card searches a lv 4 or lower Warrior from the deck.
x3 Upstart Goblin.
"Hoban is love, Hoban is life."
~Shadow
x? Shien's Dojo
Any number of Dojo you are comfortable with.
x3 Asceticism of the Six Samurai

Most of the combos in this deck are very basic, meat and potatoes-style plays. There isn't much to cover.
Lv 5.dek

Special summon Elder, and activate Asceticism, targeting Elder. Special summon Kagemusha, and Synchro for Shi En. OR normal summon Kageki, and special summon Kagemusha from the hand and Synchro for a lv 5.
Many other plays/combos can be splashed in.
Lv 6.dek

As with the other combos, you can do various other things while pulling this off.
Normal summon Kagemusha, and special summon Kizan. Synchro for a lv 6.
Rank-4 spam.

Can be done various other ways.
Normal summon Zanji, and target him with Asceticism. Special summon Kizan off of Asceticism and overlay for a rank-4.
Special summon 2 Kizan, and overlay for a rank-4 from there.
Special summon Kizan, activate Asceticism targeting Kizan, and summon Zanji from the deck, then overlay.
Return of the shogun

Activate Double-Edged Sword Technique to bring back Shi En and another Six Samurai. During the end phase, destroy another Six Samurai instead of Shi En using his effect.

Overall, a pretty basic, fun deck to use! You can splash in many of the combos together to create insane OTKs and the like! These awesome warriors are a perfect deck to pick up if you are new to the game, or just want a fast, simple and fun deck to play with! Thanks for reading, as always!

Really should post what cards do for those who don't know rather than telling them to go look it up. Kind of the point of a "Guide"
I've never seen a good Samurai deck run 3 Upstart Goblins myself.
Ascetism and Irou work best for me if you include Legendary Six Samurai - Enishi in the deck as well.
Double-Edged I agree is insanely good. For those who don't know how it works: It special summons 2 Six Samurai monsters from the Graveyard but destroys them in the End Phase, inflicting damage to you equal to their combine ATK points. But that damage never happens IF you do it right. You can use this card to get back Kagemusha and any Lv 3 Samurai and go into Shi En or other Lv 5 Synchro; any 2 Lv 4 Samurai and go into a Rank 4; Kagemusha and a Lv 4 Samurai for a Barkion or other Lv 6 Synchro; or even manage to (if you wanted) use Cunning of the Six Samurai to send one of them to the Grave and back again for more damage, while avoiding the explosion at the end; Plus the Mizuho combos you can do.
I don't understand why Great Shogun Shien is never seen.

I told them to look up cards like Asceticism because they are very wordy, and it was 4:00 AM when I posted this.
I agree with the Enishi addition, in fact Im ashamed that I didnt add him in.
A lot of Six Sam players I know go 3 Upstarts.
Shogun isn't that great to be honest. It is sad that Shogun ain't that good.

Its an easy to summon 2500 beater who limits their S/T plays. Plus his shield by letting a Samurai take the hit. People who think it isn't good don't know what they're talking about.

when they were first realesed there were six and the other one´s were at first remakes of the original six (shien was just related to them and not part of the archtype before legendary six sams)

Actually no. There are exactly SIX of the "Six Samurai". It is the name of their organization/group/clan.
The original Six Samurai (Zanji, Irou, Kamon, Yaichi, Yariza and Nisashi) are the second generation of warriors, replacing the First "Legendary Six Samurai." (Enishi, Shi En, Mizuho, Shinai, Kizan, and Kageki respectively)
Other cards in the archetype include "Six Samurai" in their names, but are almost always "of the Six Samurai" such as Elder and Kagemusha.
