What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
What Pokemon would you like to see a Mega-Evolution and what are some possible attributes you'd like to see that Pokemon gain through a Mega-Evolution?
For me I'd like to see a Mega-Electrode.
As a rule of thumb, when a Pokemon gains a Mega-Evolution, they receive 100 additional BST and are usually sensically distributed. Although, I'd like to see all 100 BST go to its Physical Attack, gain the ability "Scrappy" and can only use Explosion.
I'd love to see what are everyone else's choices.

Re: What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
My guess its boost will go to mainly give it additional speed, Sp def and sp Atk. Since regular Ninetales has access to Drought as its hidden ability i say it could benefit out of solar power but i would say they should include a different ability like Cherrim's Flower Gift which gives stat boost to not only Ninetales but to its allies as well which can potentially make it competitive again ever since Mega Charizard Y. Also on a side note include the Ghost typing cuz A. Only Chandelure has that typing and that did well for em and B. Its a Kitsune.
For Mega typhlosion i image it would be the ultimate fire sweeper. Gain more on its speed and special attack mostly and a bit on its defenses. For its ability i could image it can be something that can make thyphlosion take certain hits which is why i say it should be something like Filter or Fur coat mostly Filter so that it gives super effective moves a bad time.

I think Luxray could use a mega evolution
I love this pokemon and its design
Could also use some new moves
Maybe Adaptability or Pure Power as an ability or something
Put more stats into boosting its physical attack to insane levels as well as its speed
Then it'll be one of the most powerful physical attacker amongst electric types.

Re: What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
Personally, with how rounded off Jirachi's stats are already...i like to think the additional stats from the mega evolutionmto equally buff all of its stats...but i'd love to see more of it go into speed and special attack tbh, maybe give it magic bounce or make it keep serene grace or somethin.
another poke whose had my interest for the most part, this thing could possibly really use the mega.
maybe give both of its forms their own mega
for Aria Form maybe drop some stat points into its speed...or more of them into its defenses and a small bit into special attack, make it somewhat of a tank, maybe drop the psychic typing for fairy...
maybe give it serene grace...or prankster...even though if it had prankster it could turn... awkward with its access to T-wave, toxic, and calm mind and substitute...
maybe for Pirouette form just like, toss all the stats into speed and attack, make it generic physical punching machine of death. possibly give it like...sheer force? tough claws? dont really know where to go on an ability here.
and give it its normal/fighting typing, just because that typing is so friggin weird.
this guy is completely whacky, so why not give him a mega, maybe flop a lot of points into his speed and special attack, make him generically special sweepy-like, maybe give him Adaptability, Prankster, or give him Something like Magic Bounce or Wonder Skin for the laughs. and let it keep its normal typing obviously.

Mega-Flygon
Type: Ground/Dragon
Ability: Compound Eyes
+10 on HP
+20 on Attack
+45 on Special Attack
+15 on Special Defense
+10 on Speed
Stat Distribution if these changes were made:
HP: 90
Attack: 125
Defense: 80
Special Attack: 125
Special Defense: 95
Speed: 110
BST: 620
And having him learn Stealth Rock, Agility and Extreme Speed.

Personally...I'd like to see Mega Evolution phased out of the games. It was a nice thing for Gen 6 but it can go ahead and not be a thing from here on really. The entire meta of Pokemon was torn a new f***hole with Mega Evolution, and that's not a good thing for the competitive scene.

Re: What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
Personally i would love for togekiss to get a mega evolution, i really have no reason for why but i think that it would be as majestic as this fan art. Majestic is what i look for in mega pokemon.
Re: What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
I think the concept of Mega-Evolutions are fine. I'm just not a fan when they are executed poorly. It would make sense to give weaker Pokemons Mega-Evolutions to compensate for their weaknesses although I question why some Pokemon were chosen to be given Megas. That's not to say I dislike strong Pokemon receiving Megas such as Scizor although it would be preferable if the Pokemon proved to be more useful than its base form.
Or the worst case scenario like with Garchomp where it not only seemed excessive receiving a Mega-Evolution but it's severally underused compared to its base form. The time and effort it took to make Garchomp's Mega could have gone to a Pokemon that deserved it more such as Jumpluff or Luxray.

Re: What Pokemon would you like to see get a Mega-Evolution?
Hydreigon
I've been cross referencing Hydreigon with other Dragon pokemons, its own strengths and weaknesses, and its most effective movesets being calculated to determine what might be the most balanced way of distributing its stats if Hydreigon received a Mega Evolution.
There are multiple ways of balancing a Mega Evolution. I think the most common thought up ones are making it more of a glass cannon, making it more defensive, or have it have added utility. What I had in mind was to make some of his more vulnerable attributes to be buffed.
Have the Hydreigon line learn Close Combat.
+25 HP
Hydreigon must run at least 248 EVs on HP if it wants to guarantee survival from Mega-Beedrill's U-Turn when Hydreigon is at full HP. Which would mean the added importance of entry hazards if wanting to full faint Hydreigon at full health. If the Hydreigon is not running either Flamethrower or Fire Blast, the only move that can OHKO a Mega-Beedrill is Draco Meteor.
+25 Physical Attack
This along with the previously added mention of Close Combat can now give it the ability to possibly 2HKO Porygon2. So now they more or less effectively can check each other. Hydreigon had access to Superpower, but the move would drop its Physical Attack and Physical Defense which means it would no longer be able to possibly 2HKO Porygon2 and in response, Porygon2 can recover the lost health. I use the term "possibly" because you need to run a minimum of 168 EVs for Physical Attack for Hydreigon to do 50%, and that's on a high roll. If you're lucky, it will 2HKO a Porygon2 with Close Combat with 168 EVs. Having max EVs with a nature that boosts Physical Attack will make Hydreigon do a minimum of 49.1%. After of which, its Physical and Special Defenses will drop by 1 stage.
At this point, Ice Beam from Porygon2 will do 52.7%-62%. And this is included with the minor defensive boost that will be mentioned after this. This is under the assumption that it is an Eviolite Porygon2 with no EVs in Special Attack. Porygon2 with max EVs in Special Attack with a nature that boosts Special Attack with Analytic as its ability and going second, will do 93.5%-110.5% after the drop from Close Combat. Without Analytic, it will do 72.3%-85.2%. A paralyzed Hydreigon with max EV on Speed with a nature that boosts Speed along with the added later mentioning Speed buff will still be outsped by Porygon2 with no EVs and no nature boosting Porygon2's speed.
+10 Physical Defense
+10 Special Defense
Minor buff in its defenses.
+20 Special Attack
I don't have a very extensive explanation for this one. It just makes Hydreigon hit slightly harder.
+10 Speed
Can now outspeed Garchomp, all forms of Genesect, Mega-Gardevoir and Mega-Medicham. And now speed-ties with Keldeo and Infernape.
Mega-Hydreigon's General BST:
123 HP
130 Attack
100 Defense
145 Special Attack
100 Special Defense
108 Speed
Overall I think this would make him a good fit in a lot of versatile teams, mostly in bulky offense teams.
