Compare_Viper: Elemental VS Destiny

The two heroes were both introduced in series 2 (GX) in the anime. Elemental heroes (used by protagonist Jaden Yuki) are mainly focused on getting fusion monsters out. They don't have great offense (their strongest non fusion monster having 2600) so their fusions and their spells/traps are mainly the reason why they win. their designs are more colorful than the Destiny heroes. speaking of which...

Destiny heroes (used by Aster Phoenix) are the dark, defensive (and more British) counterparts of the Elemental heroes. Their offense is worse than the Elemental Heroes but their defense and overall field advantage is better. they only have one fusion (Destiny End Dragoon) but they have more effects than the Elementals (while the Elemental heroes have quite a few normal monsters, The Destiny heroes are all effect monsters) and their spells and traps are not as relied on as much as the Elementals.

So what do you prefer? the colorful and fusion orientated Elemental Heroes or the dark and Defensive Destiny heroes?

I've always preferred destiny heroes, maybe its the control player. Destiny heroes provide more field and better effects. They also meld well with the elemental heroes.

Well I like both of the archtypes but Destiny heros are some what better then E-Heros in a way there isnt to many cards to chose from for the main deck and just makes it a whole lot easy to make where with E-Heros there is to many main deck monsters well if your going by the standard or Neo-Spacian E-Heros

I have used both seperately and quite often as HEROes in general are among some of my favourites.
In my earliest days of dueling I felt darker and used Destiny HEROes. Then slowly my use of Elemental HEROes started to increase way more than Destiny HEROes as I grew older.

Elemental HEROes rely mostly on their fusions and their fusion monsters are crazy and rewarding. Constantly recycling and reusing fusions in various different ways. A roller coaster ride into fusion. Still the most fun I will ever have. Elemental HEROes set the standards for fusion as a whole. The combination and mastery over the elements.

Destiny HEROes. Commonly splashed with various crazy styles and even standalone, these HEROes were slower in use. More... control style of play. Their theme and design far outclassed the Elemental HEROes. More... British(?), darker even. Destiny. Thats a big word. The base monsters made way more memorable impacts in everyones hearts and minds.

Elemental HEROes and Destiny HEROes are both even imo as they were made to be what the Elemental HEROes are not. Note that HEROes didn't have a Dark attribute until Dark Mist.

All HEROes work together really really well.
There is no better. There is only HEROes.

Knight. I say British because the Destiny Heroes are British. Clock Tower Prison is big ben. double dude is Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde, D time is just Tea Time. so on and so forth
