The MADA Hunger Games: Lore and Districts Front%20Text_zpsk98i32p4

The world of the Hunger Games is not a pleasant one by any standards. A land divided into districts, each one forced to perform one type of job and every year must offer two individuals as Tribute so that the Capital can watch them fight to the death.

In this alternate version of the world, Tributes must instead Duel to the Death. Each District still performs a set type of job, though they differ from the true world of the Hunger Games.
(This is a mild alteration since last time and is purely aesthetic )

District One: Luxury
The most well off of the Districts, and home to the more elite Duelists. This District is notorious for winning the Hunger Games due to their time spent training their would-be-Tributes at the prestigious Magic Arts Duel Academy.

District Two: Masonry
The people of District Two are the builders of the world and are responsible for building such accomplishments as The Arena itself. Many of the duelists from District Two use decks that can be a bit slower but often build up into something monumental and powerful.

District Three: Technology
Serving as the main producer of Duel Disks, District Three  has produced some intellectual Tributes in recent history. Many who duel here prefer strategic decks rather than relying on power alone.

District Four: Paper Print
Home to the Duel Monster printing factories and the Capital's paper mills. It is not uncommon for "misprinted" Duel Monsters cards to go missing from the factory and finding their way into the people of District Four's decks, resulting in a mass of stronger decks.

District Five: Power
The people of District Five work to provide power, such as electricity, to the Capital. The people can be a bit quirky at times, mostly from unsafe conditions in the power plants that have jolted a handful of them. Many duelists prefer strong decks that can hit hard and fast.

District Seven: Lumber and Building
The largest District of the twelve, District Seven is the lumber area. Wood processing, furniture building, etc. Duelists of District Seven believe in working hard on building their decks to be perfect.

District Eight: Textiles
Clothing and accessories are the career of choice here. Fashion is what's its all about. If ya can't look good dueling, then you don't need to duel.

District Nine: Entertainment
The actors, singers and divas of the world. District Nine is the equivalent to the real world's Hollywood. Duelists from this area prefer to put on a good show when they duel rather than go for consistent strategies or powerful decks.

District Ten: Transportation
Responsible for maintaining the trains, automotive and aerial vehicles of the land. Many duelists of this District specialize in fast decks and machine decks.

District Eleven: Agriculture
The farmlands of the world and home to some of the nicest folk you'll ever meet, unless of course you challenge them to a duel. They prefer to avoid conflict and in a duel, they usually rely on defensive tactics that can retaliate at a moment's notice.

District Twelve: Mining
The last of the Districts and farthest from the Capital, District Twelve serves as a mining territory. Constantly digging coal for delivery to District Five's power plants, precious gems for District Eight's jewelry, and occasionally finding gold for the Capital itself. Many of the hardest workers come from this District and some of the toughest duelists. Many of them rely on "digging" through their decks quickly to get to their resources to win.
