Turmain - Hive Forest

An overgrown forest filled with Bug-type Pokemon. A lone route lies within but it was abandoned years ago due to increased danger from agitated Bugs.

After ten minutes of walking, Argentum would finally take notice of a wafting aroma in the air. Something akin to charcoal.

Others in the forest would son catch wind of the same scent. The smell of a freshly cooked meal. Maybe someone in town was cooking out today. Bit heavy on the charcoal though.

[Lelouch Lamperouge]

Shawn along with his entire pokemon team adventure through hive forest, learning more about each pokemon they meet with the forest using the pokedex he recieved when he first arrived in the Turmain Region. "So wurmple can evolve into eithier a Silcoon or Cascoon, awesome. Thank you Oak for sending me to this region. I would have never have seen such a variety of pokemon in Kanto." The trainer says to himself.

The young trainer and his pokemon noticed a charcoal smell within in the air. "What is that?" The trainer asks his pokemon, and they just had a confused look on their face. After a few seconds of thinking the trainer decides to follow the aroma in the air.

[Nosferatu Alucard]

After looking a bit more, Argentum realized that the man wasnt walking, he was running. He also saw that the man wasn't walking on his direction, it looked like he was following the aroma on the air. Insecure about what it was, Argentum sent Charles back to his pokéball, and started to run, following the aroma too.

As Xavier enters the forest
"now where is it exactly, where it be?"
he looks around, and sniffs the air trying to find it.

All the nearby trainers would eventually be met with intense amounts of heat as they drew nearer to the smell of the smoke. Argentum and Shawn reaching the location first.

The forest was ablaze, burning to the ground. Something had caught fire in the area and as dry as it had been, it spread quickly. AT this time, the flames were reaching tree tops and had spread almost half a mile wide.

Black smoke was surrounding the air in Shawn's proximity. He began coughing due to the lack of air. He emidiatly put Vee inside his shirt, so his pokemon could have some breath. The young trainer the looked around and saw dozens of burnt corpses on the ground.

*Cough* "What" *Cough* "Happen here!?" the trainer said mortified. The trainer decided in that moment that he would try to search for any living pokemon and help them escape the fire, but at the same time he feared for Vee's life, even though his partner hated being insides its pokemon more than anything in the world, Shawn returns his best friend into its pokeball and searched further within the forest.

Searching around, Shawn would notice hoards of bugs fleeing the flames, heading west, away from the fire. Several burning corpses within the inferno however, would also meet his eye.

[Rea]

as he draws closer to the source of the smoke, he is confronted with lots of smoke.
"I swear, this seems to be either a barbeque gone wrong, or the work of a crazy pyro...im betting on the pyro."

[Lelouch Lamperouge]

Barely able to breath, Shawn continues searching for atleast one pokemon that needed help. "I can't *Cough Cough* knowing that an innocent *Cough* pokemon in danger." The hard headed trainer traveled further into the fire, part of him feared death but a more power part of him couldn't just leave knowing that innocent lives are in danger.

[Nosferatu Alucard]

As Argentum finds his way to the place that was burning, his body intensified. He saw dozens of Bug-type pokémons laying on the ground, completely burnt. That was a complete inferno. Althrough caring a lot for those pokémons, Argentum didn't see something that he could do, he just kept staring the situations. Trainers, or better, terrified trainers, were trying to control the situation with their pokémons trying to help and/or contain the fire.

No one around him is trying to do any sort of "containing"

At this time, all round would notice the swarms of larger Pokemon helping to carry the smaller ones. All of the headed west, away from Sector City.

Xavier, being on the city side, would be the first to finally hear approaching sirens.

[Rea]

"forest burning, sirens approaching, I honestly don't think they'll be able to make it in time to stop the overwhelming majority of the damage that's going to be caused... theres are two options... NO REGRETS!"
He shouts the last part as he charges directly into the smoke, hoping to accomplish...something, be it finding the source, or saving any helpless living beings trapped inside.

Shawn continues through the Hellish forest set ablaze by unknown means. The brash trainer hears pokemon crying out behind off in the distance. Shawn admittedly sprints off to the source of the sound.

He finds a group of wurmple and weedles trapped under a large tree that had fallen due to the fire. They were all crying out, for someone to help them. Fire was fast approaching their location. Shawn reaches for his pokeballs to have his pokemon help him life the tree, but they were searing hot. "Damn it. What Am i suppose to do now?....Fuck It."

Shawn admittedly runs towards the giant tree and tries to lift it, to no avail. Not willing to give up, the trainer continues to struggles to life the tree. "If anyone can hear me, please help!" the trainer yells while straining to lift the tree.

[Nosferatu Alucard]

Argentum was staring at the situation, taunted by the chaos, lost on his owns thoughts. Suddently, he heard someone yelling, not a yell of fear like the others he was listening, but it was someone calling for help. He turned his head to left and saw a boy trying to lift a fallen tree. Wumples and Weedles were under it. For a moment, thoughts stopped running on his mind, and he ran to help the boy.

[Rea]

as he charges through the flame like a madman, Xavier comes across, 2 other people trying to life a giant tree that had some bug pokemon trapped under it. Not wanting to be the only one not help, he sprint to go help.

The tree slowly began lifting of the ground due to the combine strength of the trainers. "Now push" Shawn commanded the other 2. They then pushed the tree away from the pokemon that were pinned under the tree.

The weedle and wurmple were far too injured to escape from the forest on their own, they could barely move. "Grab as many of them as you can and head to the pokemon center!" The white haired trainer commanded. Then he grabbed as many pokemon as he could carry.

[Rea]

"im on it! Engage beast mode!" Xavier shouts as he starts picking up as many of the injured pokemon as he possibly can.

The young men manage to lift and move the tree, rescuing the small swarm of tiny bug types, who in turn skitter away to the west.

[Nosferatu Alucard]

"This is so sad, isn't it?" Said Argentum with a heavy breathing while getting as many pokémons he could from under the tree. Then, he moved them to a more secure place.

[Lelouch Lamperouge]

The fiery blaze in the forest was still surrounding the trainers, they didn't have much time before they fire engulfed them like it did to much of the forest. Shawn staying calm in order to properly take charge of situation exclaims. "We need to hurry back to the pokemon center and get these guys treated, before the fire kills us all."

[Rea]

"mhm, mhm. yes. i'd rather not become a char broiled steak today."
Is Xaviers comment.

"Anyway. I just want to get out of this living inferno." Argentum commented while nodding.

THe approaching sirens finally become loud enough for the boys in the fiery trees to hear. However, they have no foreseeable path out of the forest without going to the west.

[Lelouch Lamperouge]

The white haired pointed towards the west, the only safe path in the forest. "We need to go this way."

[Rea]

Xavier looks at Shawn, then at Argentum, then at the fire, then back at shawn, then back at the fire again.
"I don't even got a choice in the matter do I?"
He then starts his mad sprint west.
