Alex walks into the route, looking around. His pikachu is out of the ball, walking. They see other trainers, catching pokemon. He gets a bit sad. He sits down, writing in the notebook, not the journal. He write about the surroundings, and the pokemon he sees.

Route 1. It was like any other route for any region that had people going on an adventure. The white hair, purple eyed girl scanned the area carefully looking for a new Pokemon to either battle to get stronger or one for her team. No one can just go through the entire region with just one Pokemon. If someone got into trouble and their only Pokemon was fainted, they would be in very serious trouble.

Amethyst looked over to her boyfriend and smiled. "Ready to start training?"

A slight nod was given. "Yeah. But, if we stay on the dirt path we may not come across any Pokemon. They're pretty smart to stay way from the area that has heavy travel."

She nodded in agreement. She scanned the route carefully once more only to see a slight path that went into the treeline. She pointed with her right hand.

"There. Let's go in there and see if there are any Pokemon. We won't go to far; make sure that the path stays in eye sight. Don't want to get lost." She smiled happily.

The couple started to walk into the treeline making sure that the path was clearly visible. They started to look up, down, left, right, anywhere where a Pokemon might be hiding.

Route One was bustling with trainers now. Several locals were also walking the road to Sector City to the north and paid little mind to the rising trainers' battles.
