need a little help with a deck

same as title says, its a vanilla monster odd-eyes magician deck, i am currently proxying dragonvein and dragonpit with the gazers but the general idea is to use dragoons of draconia as a searcher and dragonpit (and possibly vein but prefearably dragoons so i might take out dragonvein) to pendulum summon to go for rank 7 plays, i also use fire fists for searching and destroying however as kabingo pointed out when he helped me test it the fire fists are the ones that does everything so i wonder if any one has any ideas of i can make it "safe" to go for my pendulum plays, currently (after mine and kabingos duel) i main 3 galaxy cyclone, 3 mst, 3 night beams and 2 trap stuns but i dont think it will be enough, does any one have any ideas of how i can make it safer to go for the plays?

well if your trying to get rid of floodgates try spell shattering arrow or fairy wind does burn damage and wrecks all the floodgates.
