Satellarknight

The archetype focuses on rapid swarm tactics and easy pluses through its Satellarknight monsters, both of which are used to fuel the Summon of the Stellarknight Xyz Monsters. This generally revolves around the use of Satellarknight Altair and Satellarknight Vega in succession to generate advantage and field presence, with the one played second Summoning another "tellarknight" to the field. At this point, multiple options can be pursued based on the situation, allowing the archetype a great level of toolboxing capabilities. Summoning Satellarknight Deneb allows the player to add 1 "tellarknight" monster from their Deck to their hand. Although this excludes Spell/Trap support, it is of invaluable help to the archetype, as it is not only the third Xyz Material needed to Summon a Stellarknight monster but also sets up later Xyz plays with Altair and Vega.

Weaknesses:

Light-Imprisoning Mirror: Satellarknight being comprised of LIGHT monsters, this card is an obvious go-to to negate any LIGHT effects. Just like Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror, the only downside is that it can possibly negate some of your own cards.

D-Fissure/Macro Cosmos: Satellarknight Altair is one of the key cards in Satellarknight and having it so all of his targets not enter the graveyard can be very deadly to Satellarknight. They're still able to make Xyz with access to Satellarknight Vega but by that point they need to give up 2 cards from their hand, removing hand presence.

Black Horn of Heaven: Wonderful card to negate the Xyz monsters and the effect is free.

Mischief of the Yokai: This card works a lot like Stygian Dirge, one of the main differences being that Stygian Dirge is continuous, and Mischief of the Yokai can be used more than once. This card reduces all the monsters by 2 levels (not much of a difference from 1 level, it still prevents Satellarknight players from access rank 4 monsters) until the end phase. The level reduction on your monsters is hardly relevant considering you'll most likely be activating this card on your opponent's turn. And it can still be used in the grave to reduce 1 monster a level. I guess if I had to compare which to use on your opponent and which is superior, Mischief of the Yokai is good when the duel is reaching near its end and narrowing your opponent's options. Stygian Dirge can potentially last the entire duel but is subject to MST.

Traptrix Traphole Nightmare: Almost relatable to Black Horn of Heaven since it can serve the same purpose as Black Horn of Heaven and have a bit more flexibility. One of the major downside when comparing this card to Black Horn of Heaven is that this card is a Spell Speed 2 and Black Horn is a Spell Speed 3. Other than that, this card has a lot of advantages; being that this card is searchable and can negate monsters summoned from Satellarknight Altair. A small downside that almost never happens, but it's important to take into account is that this card only works if your opponent specials a monster AND activates their effect the same turn it was special summoned.

Stygian Dirge: This card on its own can single-handedly win you the duel. Demoting all the monsters your opponent controls a level down, your opponent pretty much can't do anything. Satellarknight is a deck that need to go into the extra deck, and restricting access to do so can secure victory.

Ojama Trio: Since it takes 3 Satellarknight monsters to go into the Xyz Stellarknight monsters, you're opponent is going to have to get rid of these tokens by suicide killing them against an attack position monster. This of course doesn't stop them from going into Xyz that only require 2 monsters but this is good for stopping them from bringing out their boss monsters.

Karma Cut: Very potent if you target a key card like Altair or Deneb, it will banish them, essentially removing them from the duel and from being recycled. The discard cost can sometimes be too much for certain decks but it is definitely best to use this when your opponent is setting up their graveyard.

Debunk: This is great card for stopping the Xyz Stellarknight monsters from getting their effects when they hit the graveyard and it's great for stopping Honest that your opponent may have.

Mind Crush: Mind Crush has to be used extremely tactfully when calling Satellarknight cards. You're all in the clear if you're using Mind Crush to pick off Honest from your opponent's hand. Although the same cannot be said about the Satellarknight monsters. And that's mainly due to Satellarknight Altair. Many instances if you use Mind Crush to take out Satellarknight cards from your opponent hand, it is a target for Satellerknight Altair to use. Although, funnily enough this works very well again Satellarknight Altair itself.

Hope this helps combat against Satellarknight and helps think about what to throw in the side deck. If you want to see me cover another deck, don't be hesitant to leave a reply.

If your deck can handle it, cards like Royal Decree and Jinzo can stop their negation cards pretty well. Of course it depends on the deck you're running since Royal Decree and Jinzo can negate your own cards. Denko Sekka is a good card to use to stop their backrow, but it becomes much better in mid to late game situations. Wiretap and Seven Tools of the Bandit are good generic options to negate traps as well. If you don't want to run a lot of backrow to combat their backrow, I guess either Jinzo, Royal Decree or Denko Sekka will get the job done.

thanks but some of them are counterproductive to one of my favorite decks, ninja, however they should work very well in normal pendulum and igknight
