I've been thinking for a long time about this and with that I shall let it out. I propose for a Turbo Dueling Tournament.

Now I'm sure those who watched the 5D's series will wonder how will this work, worry not I designed a system it may not be 100% precise but its the closest i can get.

Rules:
1. Standard dueling rules are still applied start with 8000lp, open up with 5 cards each etc. etc.
2. Field spells are unusable as only the "Speed World" field spell remains active.
3. During each Standby Phase both players gains a Speed Counter which you place it on the Speed World field spell.
4. All spell cards are treated as Speed spells and have a specific way in order to activate them here is how:
Roll a dice twice, if the total result is equal or less than the number of Speed counters present on your side of the field you can activate it by removing Sped Counters equal to the result of the dice, if not it returns to the hand and cannot be played till the end of the turn.


Thats about it im also considering on creating a different effect for Speed World compared to the current 2 cards that are there

Issue: How do you figure out how many Speed Counters are needed for spells?

This is how you determine how many counters is needed Im open to otherways to make it work if this is too luck based strict.

Well, players could handle decklist before the tournament, the TO considerates all the different spell cards being used and give value to them.

I think I like the way Murilo suggested
Before the Tourney, all participants should have their decklists confidently submitted and set in stone for the tourney. Then the TO releases a public list or table of all the spells that were submitted and the cost of speed counter values for them. Since the decklists are set and shouldn't change. It would make this step easy.
Also. I think the Speed counters should build up just like in the anime. 1 per turn was it?
I'd actually love to see the anime works of Gate Blocker in this kind of tourney. Lel.

Keep in mind, everyone has to include 41 or more cards in their decks. Speed spell isn't considered a card in a duel as it activates on start. Ygopro actually has a Turbo duel mode as well. Or, at least it had it when I still had it.

EDIT: Also, trap decks are a bitch to go around in this mode.

I approve of Murilo's suggestion. Also i would like to introduce a new Speed World field spell just to make this a bit more lenient as suggested by Jackachu.
