Dark Scorpion Squad Assemble

As we all know Dark Scorpions are an underrated Archetype that has been there since the second Generation of Duel monsters (Aka Gx era).

So for those who don't know what this particular Archetype is or to be precise what it can do here is a brief explanation of it.

First off the Dark Scorpions all consist of mostly level 4-3 dark warrior type monsters with the exception of Gorg the strong which is level 5 and their Leader being Don Zaloog which surprisingly isn't called a Dark Scorpion at all   . All their main effects kick in when battle damage is inflicted to your opponent when they attack most notably their ability to disrupt your opponent by draining their resources via

.Discarding/mill with Don Zaloog
.Bounce/topdeck check with Chick the yellow
.Backrow removal/Mill with Cliff the trap remover
.Search power with Menae the thorn
.Bounce/Mill with Gorg the strong.

Now that that is covered lets move on to the deck profile.........

The main idea is rather simple get out one of the members preferably either Don zaloog and Menae and turn them into high powered beatsticks with either Moon mirror shield and Magnum shield. What is great about moon mirror shield is the fact that it provides a possibility to apply large pressure to the opponent, in a way torturing and punishing them as dark scorpion effects are extremely deadly when they go off, this is especially great when played against pendulum decks as losing them via milling will make it hard for them to comeback if a good board is set up.

Reason: Highest defense excellent for magnum shield turning her from a 1k to a 2800 beater and also has great search power which can add herself too O"O

With ROTA back at 1 it did get a reduction in speed which is where dragodies and dragonox pendulum cards come in as they can also help control the battle easily with dragodies acting as a continuous shrink card and dragonox acting as negate attack. Also not to mention Dragodies has the ability to search out anyone of the Dark scorpion members easily when it is destroyed of course.
