Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
I have an important question. Why isn't
Maestroke the Symphony Djinn used anymore.
It is still very useful in the current meta.
Lets consider how it can be useful against the
meta.
V Satellars:
There is no effect monster which is mained that can
survive an attack from it. With an exception of Alsahm,
but even that is barely ran at 1. If you set a monster facedown of your opponents field, if its the only one they control, Stellarnova Alpha isn't a thing.
V Nekroz:
Its effect really only gets ruined by Unicore and sometime clausolas.
V Burning Abyss:
If they have a monster face-down they can't summon
any other Burning Abyss monster so it slows them down. They also have small attack, apart from Scarm and Farfa
V Shaddolls:
Winda's effect is mean.
V Qlis:
7/10 monsters have less than 1800 DEF.
Against some rogue decks:
Beelze can get flipped face-down, making Raigeki
an option. Can flip 101 face-down, making Raigeki
an option. Stardust can get flipped face-down making
Raigeki an option. Quasar can get targeted, then its
negated, making it vulnerable to your cards.
Please can SOMEBODY explain why it's unpopular???

Re: Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
Castel pretty much does the same thing but with more attack and sacrificed its defense to be able to shuffle a monster back into the deck allowing for more damage to be pushed

You can use maestroke's effect twice. And has destruction protection.

You detach one to set with Castel. Also, spinning is better than protection.

Swords of Concealing Light is also a thing for flipping ALL opp's monsters facedown. Then you can Raigeki or Dark Hole everyone at once. But then again Castel also does the flip down or shuffle options by more instantaneous.

i like maestroke i just usually dont have the room for it, if i do i like putting it in but like i said there are better options and also i tend to prefer using synchro monsters over xyz and tend to have a very small amount of xyz in any deck that i use tuners in in favor of having a wider range of synchros to choose from

I personally play Maestroke in most rank-4 lineups I have, and I go into him all the time.
