Creases appear on Aurums forehead momentarily before smootening out. This data would be extremely valuable and he had made the right decision in coming out to Route 1 to search for new friends.

"Ah I see Shawn. This will be extremely valuable information. You have my gratitude." Aurum nodded politely to Shawn "We know why we are both out here then. Let's look for new friends to help us out, shall we?"

Shawn smiles towards the new trainer. "Yeah let's go out and catch some pokemon and then meet up and have a good old fashion battle."

As Shawn headed away, Aurum and his Heracross nodded at each other then suddenly dived into the nearby grass. This was the perfect way to make new friends.

The Starly did not interest Aurum as of yet. He ordered his Heracross to use Horn Attack the poor Starly. As it fainted from the attack, Aurum and his Heracross decided to search further into the area.

The Rattata seemed quite douchey, he came out of the grass and bit shawn on the calf. "Ouch, Vee use quick attack." the little dog pokemon runs at great speed towards the rat and knocks it out.

Aurum in a good mood and accustomed to an odd habit that he had developped in Hive Forest, drop kicks the tree nearest to him as his Heracross just shrugged. This dice is not existing.

A wild Rattata fel on his hat. "Little fellow probablt trying to nab a wild Starly or something..." Aurum calmly pointed to the Rattata on his head and nodded. Heracross blasted the Rattata out of Aurum's head with Bullet Seed and fainted on the grass. Aurum sighed and moved along to search for more Pokemon with his Heracross.

Shawn, Vee, and Sora see movement in tall grass. "Vee use swift."

When Shawn see the ralts, it reminds him of his day watching Sabrina battle challengers with all her psychic pokemon. The young trainer grins. "You're gonna join me on my journey. Vee use quick attack!"

Aurum picks up a neaby stone and chucks it into rhe nearby grass. His Heracross would never get used to some of his antics and only sighed.

Out of grass what apprently was a stone tank rushed at Aurum and he barely managed to jump out of the way. This was exactly the kind of friend he needed badly. Heracross quickly tackled the charging Rhyhorn head on, somehow managing to slow down its charge by using its own brute strength. This was the perfect oppurtinity Aurum needed. Aurum frantically throws his pokeball at the Rhyhorn!

Shawn and his pokemon take a quick rest under an oran tree. When an oran berry falls on the ground causing Sora and Vee to wrestle over right. Shawn happily looks at his pokemon, thinking about how much he cares about them only after meeting them a few days prior. As Vee wins their little wrestling match and attempts to claim the prize, a wild pokemon came out of no where and eats it.

Shawn looks at the bidoof with disdain. "Vee use quick attack." Then the dog-like pokemon knocks out the thieving pokemon.

Aurum and his Heracross lean across a tree. Aurum was covered in dirt and bruises from the last encounter. "Thanks TerrorKing. I don't know what I would have done without you." Aurum's Heracross smiles and nods. Aurum panting and slightly tired, sits down under the tree.

"Tell you what. Let us arm wrestle!" Aurum suddenly stood up and said to his Heracross. His Heracross looked at him questioningly but attempted to humor him all the same. Aurum and Heracross lied down on the grassy floor and at the count of three-
Aurum was sent flying into a nearby tree!

Aurum fell down from the tree and lay sprawled on the ground. He looked up and reached for his hat infront of him only to find a Ralts looking at him with a really concerned expression. "Oh hello there you beautiful thing" said Aurum as he quickly reached for his Pokeball and threw it at the Ralts.

Shawn with his hands in his pockets walks through route 1 sighing. "Im determined to watch another pokemon."

Aurum picked up the Pokeball with Ralts in it and started doing a spinming victory dance as his Heracross arrived at the scene. "TerrorKing look! We have new friend!" Aurum let his newly aquired Ralts out its Pokeball.
Aurum suddenly trips over a nearby rock and falls backwards into a bush.
