Very true, but what make this magic much more unique? every plant in the world is also classified as part of the earth, meaning you can manipulate plants as well.

I would have to go with fire. Ever since I was little I have had a fascination with fire. When I was about four years old I went to my first bonfire and when they threw extra gasoline on the fire, it was absolutely wonderful. I never played with fire, unlike my brother who burnt down the pump-house (which was an old building in our town that was where everyone got water in the old day).

I've had several bonfires and have burnt things from time to time. And the best time that I saw fire was when demolition derby cars spit out fire on the engine exhaust. It's very awesome to see~

If I had to pick another element, it would be darkness.

All of these elements are really cool, but I most logically would choose energy. Since all living creatures need energy just imagine how much power you'd have if you can control that energy or take energy away.

I also have two elements that im very fond of.
Fire, ever since i was 9 years old, i'd just found it very funny to hear a guy i just ignited in a video game scream. while irl, i didn't really burn many things, but when i did.... it was so much fun. Had my very own bonfire, where i found out flour was explosive. xD

Earth, everyone admits that the earth has very unique landscapes, that are just too pretty for words (ex. Angel Falls and Grand Canyon). Being able to manipulate the very landscapes, makes it even more better. Plants, also fall under this category, because they bind themselves to the earth.

I'm an elementalist so I love each and every element for what they are and what they stand for. One does not have dominance over the other. Tis merely the magnitude at which the elements are applied that has cause the age long illusion.
Tsk. I'm having a really hard time between Water or Darkness here.
For the same reasons that have been stated about the other, similar reasons hold for Water. Water is all around us even more so than land. The hidden beauty which the ocean holds. The mysterious of the deep. Also with the right creativity can be used very effectively in surprising and unexpected ways. But yeah. I just love the sea. Lol.
Darkness. Where there is light there is always darkness. That which is hidden that which is inside. That which lurks under the bed. The night itself. Not going into much detail here since I picked Water. lel.

Speaking about all the elements makes me think of Pokemon. I guess that's why I picked Fire and Darkness because I run a team of Fire and Dark Pokemon. =D

i actually research on each one, and found this one superpower website. gave me the idea to make this post.

Also due to the fact that the maximum amount of pole options is ten, i was unable to fit "other" up there. Other had only five powers under it. They were Aether, Cosmic, Gravity, Nether, and Space-Time Manipulation.
i would not recommend looking up the website, because it's lagging me just as im typing this.

In my opinion there are main 6 elements. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, (basic 4) Light, Darkness. Then outside of this comes the sub elements and the weirder lone elements.

yes, cosmic like the universe, similar to Lucy's Celestial magic, the spells that are very powerful and don't involve summoning spirits

It's a section which I usually pretend doesn't exist. Stuff like Chaos go in there.
Ice is a sub element. Electricty/Energy is a unique element. But then again Aether/Cosmic/MP/Energy/Magic can be taken as a single thing as in yknow. Just energy.
Gravity is not an element nor is Weather.

Weather can be taken as a phenomenon or occurrence usually planetary.
Storm is invoking multiple of elements at the same time. Commonly involving air and energy/electricity. And Wind is defined merely as fast moving air. Or in simple terms. Moving Air is Wind.
