Here's a thought...
I don't how to classify this one, but here goes:
A thought had occurred since everyone's now talking about switching over to the new archtypes or staying with older ones. How about one day we all choose a series of Mimic Duels (where we each pick a fellow member on MADA, copy the deck they are currently using on DN, and as a surprising twist, we each duel blind, meaning you pick someone you want to copy, whether it's something that matches your style of play or not, and there's no telling what your opponent will use and vice versa.) Reason why this came to mind: I like to think of this as a tactical exercise, sharpening one's ability to react at a moment's notice to key plays and overall strategy, even if you're not prepared to destroy the strategy, you could at least halt it and mitigate any backfire you might receive and recover a possible counterattack. Also it's somewhat fun to surprise ppl with styles you never use anyway.
Ex: Shadowmaster67's use of RR/Infernities, borrowed from/by Stardog. against Legandary Kabingo using my mficimmortals v6.2 (and these decks being unknown to each other.) face-off.

Re: Here's a thought...
this sounds interesting but why not just build our own variant of some else´s deck and not copy it?

Re: Here's a thought...
Well personally I don't have the aptitude for every variant, and if I were doing this, then it would help me understand each and every single variant in a deck structure. The same can be held true of others here. It helps to broaden the horizons so that if it ever comes down to playing structures or styles we're not accustomed to, then this would be an excellent idea to train. Besides, everyone knows how I play, and with that loses interest and excitement. Everyone knows how to overcome my deck and exploit my flaws. I'm just throwing in ideas to help build learning moments.

Re: Here's a thought...
I think making a variant of the deck sounds better, as you don't want people copying your best deck and such :U plus everyone knows how i play too XD
Re: Here's a thought...
From all that what I think it boils down to is a matter of trust and pride
And obviously most of us aren't very keen on sharing our best decks
Because thats a totally different thing from someone actually knowing how you duel
Collecting data through battle has never been easy against sly opponents due to this. lol
And usually sly data collectors that do. Use deck destruction effects like Inferno Tempest or something.
