the death note case, figuring it out

as you who joined the investigation already know kira left clues for us, they were powder, transformers and smaug, we must at once try to solve these to e able to find the culprit, i have some ideas of what they could stand for, however i need to hear your oppinions on the matter first

I do not have any idea what powder has any relation to. However I might suggest that Transformers and Smaug refer to really popular pieces of fiction culture. One being science fiction and the other being Fantasy Fiction.

Hmm.... I feel like two of these are meant to throw us off as pop-culture references when they are really plays on certain words.
Powder=This one escapes me at the moment, however it may refer to like a powder works that produces gunpowder and stuff.
Transformers=Something to do with power, so it may refer to a power plant or something related to electricity.
Smaug=Simply put, smog. If you ask me, it could very much refer to a factory or something.
Putting these together, it sounds kinda obvious.
Gunpowder can produce heat. Heat is used to produce electricity in most power plants, and smog is smoke mixed in with fog, caused by: Power Plants, or smoke stacks of many industrial buildings. I could be wrong, but this might point toward a Power Plant.

well our final member of the team is late to the investigation so i´ll tell you what i think now, i think that powder refers to some sort of drug or simply dust while transformers, after watching some i realised they get their lifes from the allSPARK and finally smaug is a dragon, if my theory is correct we must figure out what drug powder refers to

The clues currently leave us in two directions then. One being Industrial and the other being Cinematic. Most of us currently leaning towards Cinematic. However the clue Powder seems to be an extremely tricky one as none of us can link this to the other two clues.
Either it will be an explosive death at a factory or a power plant. Or someone at the movie industry is going to suffer an ironic death.
Well even if this may not be the case. Drug Powder? Perhaps this means underworld criminal involvement?

i do not think so, all of kira´s victims so far have been criminals and no specific organizsation has been targeted

I believe that the drug that is being referred to is cocaine. Meth is more of an ice-like substance, hence the nickname "Ice". Heroin is generally a liquid substance. Cocaine is found normally as a powder. It also causes heartattacks, like the Death Note.

Alright. The first word "Powder" must then be the cause of death. As in HOW. Powder=Cocaine=Heart Attacks=Death Note as L established. But doesn't this idea means we're going in circles as to the cause of Death since it IS a Death Note death?
Then the other two words "Transformers" and "Smaug" must definitely point to WHERE. Being suggested before as either Industrial or Cinematic locations. And Industrial either being Electrical or Smoke related.
Apart from these ideas already established I have none to contribute as of the moment.

i think your right D, i have pinpointed a few industrial and cinematic buildings that could be it, i will send them to you all (actually not but its for the RP) we must make sure to do a forrow search of all these buildings, send me all the clues you can find (i will PM to you what you find in your respective location)
