The format is out of control.

If the format keeps up like this, I'll have to take a break. Not even my Blackwings or X-Sabers compete on the competitive scene anymore. I am losing the spirit that has kept me going since the beginning...... How can I stay interested if my favorite decks are being forgotten in favor of the BS that exists in the meta? How can I keep going when fun and originality are almost non-existent? The banlist doesn't do anything relevant anymore, just banning and un-banning things that are bad choices. Infernity got killed due to topping worlds, which was a banlist hit they did NOT deserve. Also, Snatch Steal and Raigeki are unbanned, and Im one of the only people who care about the direction this is going, AND to boot, Vanity's, Skill Drain, Dante and Winda/Construct were NOT EVEN CONSIDERED by Konami to be hit! Stratos is still banned, they are re-wording everything poorly and un-banning it, and it's all so stupid! Some of these cards new rulings are garbage, or DON'T AFFECT IT AT ALL!!!! Konami really needs to DO SOMETHING to keep the game BALANCED and FUN.
Qliphorts are just STUPID, BA is almost GOD-TIER, and Shaddolls are just flat out BORING like QLIPHORTS. Satellarknights have fallen off the edge of the earth, Furnimals aren't even cared about, Superheavies are LAUGHED at, Performapals are unheard of and Yang Zing is RIDICULED. The game is LOSING every single thing Konami has tried to keep ALIVE for THE LONGEST TIME.
The soul and spirit of the game are dying. I will keep playing for now, but if it gets too bad, I'll have to go........ I can't watch the game I love so much lose it's charm. Again, I'm still in it for now, but if it keeps up like this, I'll have to take a break, weather it's temporary or permanent. Konami, do something relevant for once in 3-4 years.

This is the same reason why I've quit the game. I've started to lose interest during the HAT format and so on but my breaking point was when Konami decided to errata old cards and continue to make poor decisions. I've been holding on for this game to get better but it just seems to be waning everyday. I'm still willing to duel only with friends and I've stepped back from playing to just coaching to the people who need it. I still love this game but I can't force myself to play it anymore.

I'm still waiting/hoping for the game to improve. So far I've been playing the Super Smash Bros. series and I think it's my replacement for YuGiOh. I'm not quitting the game, I've just turned into more so into a casual player.

that is one reason i havnt been on DN in a while, i bring chaos dragon they curb stomp with BA, and on with more and more decks, the only one of my decks i feel like can stand up to the meta is my DDD deck and i want to use more then 1 deck

the format is hell right now i go into a rated duel all i ever c is F*CKING BA,QLI, AND SHADDOLS its like wat is the point of duelling other ppl besides friends i just hate having to main deck like vanity and shit just to even have a ghost of a chance against the meta decks
