Shadow's rogue deck of the week #1
I figured that I should do this, because I've been running into some really tough rogue decks lately.
This week's rogue deck is Yosenju Stun.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I will talk about their strengths and weaknesses, as well as ways to combat the deck.
They almost rolled into the top tier with Qli's and Nekroz, but sadly stopped short. Their inherent ability to main cards like Thunder King, Vanity's, Mistake and many other options make them a potent threat. They have many means of disposing of the opponent's field presence, and can easily swarm the field with their lower monsters for big pushes, or Xyz summons.
Strengths: Shutting the opponent out of searches and effects, while throwing the opponent's cards back into the deck, and conserving hand advantage.
Weaknesses: Any summon hate, and backrow hate.
You can easily kill them off with a well-timed Torrential, Solemn, Trap Hole or Compulse. Also, you can use cards like Fiendish Chain to ensure that the little shit that was summoned doesnt bring out a friend OR bounce back to the hand. If they go in for a large push with multiple monsters, a successful Mirror Force will make them cry. Cards like Delta Crow, MST, Twister and the like are great choices for making their stun aspect suffer. I hope this is of any use to you all, and if you have any input on other ways to hurt them, feel free to post. Also, tell me what rogue deck I should do NEXT!

Thanks for the info. Yosenju are one of my all time sworn enemies. I find their way of fighting to be especially cowardly. When I run into them on an experimental mood kind of deck they ruin the day for me and I can't do much against them unless I was specially prepared for them.
Is Degenerate Circuit a good card to use against them?

I have a suggestion for a rogue deck you can cover next. Ninjas are a rogue deck aren't they?

Ninjas are pretty fun and flexible, and normally when people take them to events they normally top, so I may actually cover them next.

That should make it even more fun to cover them. lol.Necruta wrote:which version of ninja's though XD there are a million of them
I've been experimenting with Karakuri/Flip Ninjas recently and was really fun to be able stand up to some serious decks like Gladiator Beasts without a problem. Always got screwed when an opponent decided to use Royal Decree tho e_o
