MADA Card of the Week #4

I'm still sick. I was asking if Lint can do this for me but he said he didn't want to do it because it's the 4th edition. This is the fourth iteration of this segment. The Big 3 will not be voting on these posts (With 1 exception)

Rules:

1. Can only suggest 2 card at a time
2. List your reasons (Optional but it helps)
3. Must be legal to use in the current format


After a couple days, we will take your choices, poll it and see which one wins by voting. I'm late on this one this and I apologize for that. I'm still sick even right now. I don't want the card of the week to be made in the middle of the month so the winner will be recorded on Monday. As per usual, 24-36 before Monday we will poll it. The Big 3 will only vote if there is a tie that needs to be broken. If there are more than 10 cards suggested, we will need to use Strawpoll.

Leeching The Light
Reason 1. Current Decks or Cards that can get be abused with this card by this Blue Eyes,  Cyber Angels, Monarchs (probably). Cyber Dragons, and Light Kaijus, Beatrice.

Reason 2. Can create potential OTKs

Mischief of the Gnomes
Reason 1: Messes up Xyz Decks such as PK fire by altering both player's monsters level in the hand and can even easily ruin the Terrortop rank 3 play and Bahamut shark/Treatoad plays.

1. T.g. hyper librarian - I can justify that this card is one of my all time favorites currently and is often underrated. You can pull off many combos with it. Its a fun card to use especially with formula synchron. It allows you to make quasar easier. Also it can be abused relentlessly in dark synchro decks for instance.

2. Pot of Desires - Like almost as broken if not more broken than pot of greed, not only does it let you instant plus 1, It can help thin out your deck,m increasing your chances of victory if used correctly. It's not good in all decks, but it still is a fun card.

Droll & Lock Bird - In terms of side deck cards this is one of the way more underrated ones. Though it can't stop the first plus the opponent gets through adding a card or drawing a card through card effect it does get the added bonus of being able to stop the opponent from not only further adding cards from the deck through hand but also stops them from continuing to be able to draw through card effect. And n this meta the player is going to have to make multiple pluses to get a real leg up but while cards like Mistake or Mistaken Arrest or TKRO are more focused and are able to completely shut them out from even getting one search they don't harm every deck to the amount they could. Like BEWD which can also get by with a big amount of draw power on top of searching power. And though I hate to say Exodia and other various instant win condition decks (many of which rely on a lot of draw) will always be a thing and Droll & Lock will also take care of them.

D.D Crow: Another excellent side deck choice vs decks such as Burning Abyss as well as Phantom Knights, this card can also be used to banish ABC monsters so they cannot contact fuse into their boss monster fusion. I find this good in dark decks reasons because it's an Allure of Darkness target if you see that it is a dead card in your hand.

Denko Sekka: I've been seeing this card rise back to popularity as it is an excellent choice vs Demise decks as you can practically auto win vs any Demise deck by summoning Denko unless they have the Solemn Warning set . I see Denko as a fantastic card as I've been putting this in any deck that had the ability and could benefit off.
