x3 Blackwing - Kris the Crack of Dawn.
Kris is an absolute must-have around at least 2. I play 3 because he is a spammer that can be searched on Pinaki and Force Strix, as well as a great normal summon under Whirlwind, and a 1.9k beatstick. He can also dodge cards like Mirror Force, Raigeki, Dark Hole, Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole, making this shock trooper even better for the deck!
x3 Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame.
Shura is the second best normal summon under Whirlwind that I play, as well as my favorite of the beaters. Her effect is a +1, and can allow you to go +2 if you choose to summon Pinaki with her. While Pendulums are very popular, and do not go to the extra deck, there are still great applications for this beautiful bird, and so she is still a 3 of in my build.
x3 Blackwing - Bora the Spear.
MY DRILL IS THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS! *Cough cough*
Bora is the best inherent spammer, and the 3rd best beater/normal summon in the deck. His effect to dish out piercing damage punishes the opponent for cowering in fear, and has actually won me games in the past. Always a 3-of.
x3 Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow.
I have said before and will say again, I NEED a Kalut mask! Simply to hide the excitement in my face when I draw into this card. Kalut is a searchable Honest, and a decent summon on Whirlwind. This card is why many people do NOT attack into a Blackwing.
x3 Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind.
This little guy will HALVE your fun! He's a searchable spammer, and a level 3 tuner that can cut the attack and def of your opponent's monster by half, permanently! He may not be a good normal summon, but the effect and the Tuner status are what matters.
x2 Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North.
I personally think Blizzard is a pretty....... CHILL dude! *Ba-dum-tss!*
Blizzard is my personal favorite topdeck in a grind game. He's essentially a 1-card Synchro for a 5, 6 or in some cases he can even grab you an 8 or 9! He starts so many crazy wombo combos it is RIDICULOUS! When normal summoned, he revives a level 4 or lower Blackwing from your graveyard!
x1 Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite.
Many of my IRL friends say that this is "The only good Blackwing." His effect lets him spin back a card you control to the hand to bring him back from your grave at a small price of 400 life points! Zephy is a great card because he lets you recycle Fiendish Chains, protect Whirlwinds for the next turn, and re-use combo pieces!
x1 Blackwing - Pinaki the Waxing Moon.
If Lint was a bird, this would be him.
During the end phase, if this guy is in the grave because he was sent there from the field during that turn, you get a free Blackwing monster from your deck. However he cant be used to summon any Synchro monsters EXCEPT Blackwings. Much restriction, but his effect is amazing, and that turban is pretty sick too!
x1 Blackwing - Harmattan the Dust.
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST! This guy is..... Too sick to describe. He lets you do all kinds of wonky wombo combos that will completely dick on your opponent.
x3 Black Whirlwind.
Hey look, an academy!
This is the main searcher of the deck, and a damn great one at that. When you normal summon a Blackwing with this card face-up on the field, you get to search a Blackwing from your deck with less atk than the summoned monster's. This card is absolutely amazing, and I have a feeling that with more and more support in the future, it will NEVER be power creeped.
x3 Pot of Duality.
Gotta excavate for those Shuras and Whirlwinds brah. Archaeology is a damn good job!
x2 MST.
Negate everything.
x1 Allure of Darkness.
Fixes dead hands, deck thinning, etc.
x1 Cards for Black Feathers.
Same reason as Allure.
x3 Icarus Attack.

Because fuck Ultimate Falcon, the Megazord thingy and anything else thats painful to beat over.
x2 Blackwing Tamer - Obsidian Hawk Joe.

Raikiri really RAINS on their parade!

The reason I am not playing Sirocco is because it is simply too slow and cloggy. Harmattan is almost always live and can b searched, whereas Sirocco tends to be a dead draw more often and cant be searched on anything outside of Pinaki. With this build I wanted to make my plays live as early as possible, Duality can clog but I only activate it if I do not see my main combo plays, or if Im forced to go first.

Kris is definitely one of my favourites. He takes destruction without flinching. You finally called him a shocktrooper. I approve.
Eh, maybe tis just be but, Harmattan never seems to work out for me. Lel. I know you use him especially for the Trishing tho.
Where mah nigguh Gladius at? The least he can do is go into instant Nothung for ye. o_o
Also, Sirocco. We're... not using Cyber Dargon BW ed at 1 anymore? Does it really clog that bad especially since we use Black Whirlwind? O_o
