V-Jump February Promo

Q: A Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon you control that has its effects negated by the effect of Skill Drain attacked an opponent’s Five-Headed Dragon.
In this case, the Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon that had its effect that prevents it from being destroyed in battle negated is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, but can its effect be activated?
A: Even in the proposed scenario, the effect that banishes monsters can be activated.
In that case, since that Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon was destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard at the End of the Damage Step, the effect activates in the Graveyard.

Q: If an opponent’s monster attacked by your Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is not destroyed in battle as a result of the effect of an opponent’s Relinkuriboh in the Graveyard, can the effect of Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon be activated?
A: Even in the proposed scenario, since this is a case in which the opponent’s monster was not destroyed by the attack of this card, the effect of Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon can be activated at the End of the Damage Step.

Q: If an opponent’s monster attacked by your Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is not destroyed as a result of the effect of Mist Body, can the effect of Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon be activated?
A: Even in the proposed scenario, since this is a case in which the opponent’s monster was not destroyed by the attack of this card, the effect of Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon can be activated at the End of the Damage Step.

Q: When Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon performs its second attack on an opponent’s monster, if Compuslory Evacuation Device is activated during the Battle Step so that that opponent’s monster is no longer on the field, what happens with the attack?
A: In the proposed scenario, when Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon performs its second attack, if a replay is triggered and the opponent does not control any monsters, since it is not possible to choose the opponent as a new attack target, that Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon does not perform Damage Calculation as a result and that second attack stops.

Q: When Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon performs its first attack on an opponent’s monster, if Compulsory Evacuation Device is activated during the Battle Step so that that opponent’s monster is no longer on the field, what happens with the attack?
A: In the proposed scenario, when Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon performs its first attack, if a replay is triggered and the opponent does not control any monsters, an attack target can be chosen again, and a direct attack can be performed.
(In that case, it is not possible to perform a second attack on a monster)

Q: When your Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon attacked the opponent directly, the opponent activated Magic Cylinder and that attack was negated.
If the opponent activates Call of the Haunted during that Battle Phase, Special Summoning a monster, can Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon attack a monster via its own effect?
A: If Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon has not attacked a player directly, it can perform attacks on up to 2 monsters during 1 Battle Phase.
In the proposed scenario, an attack was negated as a result of the effect of Magic Cylinder, but since a direct attack on a player was declared, an attack on a monster cannot be performed afterwards via the effect of Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon.

Q: If De-Fusion is activated targeting a Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon that was Special Summoned by the method that sends monsters from the field to the Graveyard, how does this resolve?
A: If Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is Special Summoned by the “•” method, it is not treated as being Special Summoned by a Fusion Summon.
Therefore, if the effect of De-Fusion is applied, Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon is returned to the Extra Deck, but since the monsters sent to the Graveyard at the time of the Special Summon are not the monsters used as Fusion Materials for the Fusion Summon of the monster returned to the Extra Deck, the part of the effect that Special Summons is not applied.

Q: Can Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon be Special Summonedc by effects like Monster Reborn?
A: Since Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon says it cannot be Specia lSummoned except by Fusion Summon or by its own method, even if it is properly Special Summoned, it cannot be Special Summoned by effects like Monster Reborn.

Q: If Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon would be Special Summoned, can the effect of King of the Swamp be applied?
A: If a card like Polymerization is activated and a Fusion Summon would be performed, the effect of King of the Swamp can be applied. (The Fusion Summon is performed using 1 copy of each King of the Swamp and Blue-Eyes White Dragon)
Furthermore, if Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon would be Special Summoned by the method that sends monsters on the field to the Graveyard, since that Special Summon is not treated as a Fusion Summon, the effect of King of the Swamp cannot be applied.

Q: If Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon would be Special Summoned by the method that sends monsters from the field to the Graveyard, can a face-down Defense Position Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your Monster Zones be sent to the Graveyard?
A: Yes, it can.

Q: If Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon would be Special Summoned, can Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon be used?
A: If Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon is face-up in a Monster Zone, since it is treated as Blue-Eyes White Dragon, it can be used when Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon would be Special Summoned whether a Fusion Summon is performed or if it is Special Summoned by the method that sends monsters on the field to the Graveyard.
Furthermore, since a Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon in the hand or face-down in a Monster Zone is not treated as Blue-Eyes White Dragon, it cannot be used to Special Summon Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon.
