Shiny Pokémon

Ok so as a few of you know I play pokémon X and Omega Ruby, well the question I have is if I encounter a shiny legendary and it kills it self after 4 hours of soft restarting, am I able to encounter that legendaries shiny version again because I am getting all the legendaries in Omega Ruby in there shiny version for the heck of it and I spent 4 hours of soft restarting and finally encountered a shiny Ho-Oh and it killed it self and I also spent 3 hours soft restarting for a shiny Virizion and it killed it self so yea as you can see I have bad luck with shiny legendaries. SO if any of you guys know please post because google doesn't help me at all, also I had got 2 different answers someone saying no and someone else saying yes so yea if any of you know post.

Catching Shiny Legends in the wild is a waste of time, I recommend not using soft re-set and wasting your time. And yes, it is possible to re-encounter that shiny Legendary Pokemon once again. The chance system is randomized, it works the same way as shiny breeding would in the 6th Generation. So unless the Pokemon trying to be caught is a shiny lock, you should be able to get it again after a very long time.
