"Flight 303" Episode 1: The Crash

As I flew towards the sky, I thought something was wrong. This was probably my millionth flight, but this one was weird. I felt something....off. I didn't know what. I always knew the plane in and out, but something was wrong. I was halfway into the flight over an island when I heard a crack of a gun in the back of the plane, and before I could take action, I heard screams. Loud and blood-filled screams. I felt a bullet pierce my arm. I screamed with pain. I turned around, and a man behind me held the gun to my head. I saw there were still people alive, and that was just first class. I knew the others in the back of the plane were hopefully alive. The man chuckled. I knew him. He was a bounty hunter, and he knew my cover.

My name was Demon. He couldn't have known me. If he did, I'd be dead. He loads the pistol and laughs.

"Checkmate." He says. He shoots my chest, and I bleed out.

I couldn't believe my eyes. I turn my head to use the bathroom for one minute and a man goes on a rampage and kills a bunch of people. This was horror. Blood everywhere. Bodies dangling. I saw people still alive. I was relieved. I was going back home on this flight, coming back from Australia. I loved that place. I guess I'd never get back home. The plane was falling into an island as I checked who was alive. People started grabbing lifejackets and jumping out. I made sure people were getting out. The plane was about to hit the water, and people were inside. I rushed everyone alive out, and I knew that the people ahead were mostly alive. I hoped that at least. There were no more lifejackets, so I jumped for my life. I grabbed my sack and all my belongings and jumped. I was lucky to land in water. I saw bodies on the shore, blood everywhere and bodies mangled. I swam to shore, seeing the others swim back. I saw a body fly out: the pilot. He fell into the water, and I ran to see if he was ok. I ran across the island, and someone stopped me. They held a gun to my chest, and I knew it was over. It was a woman, wearing a sweater covering her face and hair. I was freaking out, trying not to die.

"Dude, no need to shoot me. I didn't do anything. I swear! It was some rampaging guy! Just don't pull the trigger!" I covered my chest, but instead, she put the gun in a holster. I was still scared. She grabbed my arm.

"Did you see the pilot fallin'?" She said. I nodded. "Well then, let's go see if he's ok." She loads the gun as we walk to the pilot. Eventually, I see him, on the shore, breathing. Both me and the woman ran to him, checking him. I gave him water, and I bandaged him with some of my extra clothes.

"Thank you." He said. He then passed out, and I freaked out.

"I-Is he dead?" I asked the woman.

"He's fine. Let him rest." She said. I sat there in the sand, looking at the plane crash and burn in the water. Was this my life? Was I ever going to get back home?
