im just going to dive right into this

qliphort x amorphage stupidity.

this deck has 1 goal. skybase + lysis + Greed/Lechery backrow smitelock.

...i really cant explain much...every card in here should be self-explanatory.

though funnily enough carrier and helix get off their bouncer and pop effects(respectively) when tribbed for the amorphage pendulums

and with infection on field you basically get either a pop and a search, or a bounce and a search.

lysis is there to just send the attack points of everything that isnt skybase to HELL.

amorphage lechery to discourage stray twin twisters

amorphage greed to discourage solemn spammers

irritum is there as a trade-in target and to kill the opps extra, because of the ridiculous amount of tribute BS qliphorts can pull.

shell for the same purpose as irritum, trade-in bait, and its two attacks in the battlephase and piercing effect, in the event you SOMEHOW get all your Lysis traps killed.

summoners art is obviously for goddamn scout to hand ASAP.

re-qliate for...ok not gonna lie i forgot why i had it.

1 strike and 1 warning just because...incase greed isnt onboard and someone thinks they can utopia lightning your skybase.

and pride and wrath to act as tribute fodder for greed and lechery...and in the event of needing to run over something they get somewhat beefy with infection + lysis

Thing is that their synergy is limited. It's a fine idea but the thing that kills the deck is the fact that Amorphages are scale 3-5 and though Qli has scales 1-9, that doesn't matter as you can't special non-Qli monsters. This means that (from my perspective) you have to be solely reliant on one engine or the other until it gets circumvented and then you have to fall back on the other one, often with limited success.

Additionally, Skybase keeps losing more and more effectiveness. It's an interesting idea, that's for sure. Now if you could find a consistent way of popping your own scales while plussing from it (RIP Wavering Eyes) I'd think differently.

If you can disprove any of what I've said, please do. I haven't actually played the deck, so I'm not all that sure of what the combos are.

Eh... Just got through some matches... THrow it in the garbage or solve the synergy problem. Remember that while you have a Qlip monster in the pendulum zone, you can't ss any Amorphage.
