Real Talk, Stardust Empty Real Talk, Stardust

Post by StardoostLegend Fri Mar 11, 2016 4:11 am

Over the years, I have spent my time admiring the creative genius and work of others. Developers and writers who make amazing TV shows and games like Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Five Night’s at Freddy’s, Undertale, Pony Island, Minecraft. The list goes on and on, I’ve admired these games and stories for their amazing characters, art, story plot, concepts, soundtracks; pretty much everything amazing about them. I’ve made fanart for them, I’ve tried learning their soundtracks on piano and clarinet, I’ve sometimes even written fan fictions for them. Despite this, I have my own characters and stories. And when people like my own creations and thoughts, just knowing that they have interest in it, just fills me with joy.
I’ve never really pieced what I wanted to do with my life together. My interests vary few and far apart. My talents in art and illustration, my growing interest in music, my love of math and science and problem solving. Never have I really pieced it together, until now. Now, it’s all coming together in one big picture, one picture that I cannot deny. A picture that has opened my very eyes, and made me realize what makes me happy in life.
I’m approaching the time in my life where I shouldn’t be admiring other people’s games and shows. Instead, I should be inspired to make my own project. Writing my own stories, creating my own game and my own characters. Developing something that I can say that I made it. Something where I could say I designed my project or art. I don’t care about what the trolls or haters think about my interests, or even about my drawings or videos or stories or anything really. Somebody out there really likes my work, and just knowing that an actual person takes even the smallest interest in something that I have made on my own is what keeps me going. I don’t care if I’d become rich or famous anymore, I just want to do what I love, and for others to at least try my creations. I want to write stories and create characters and create games, I want for the world to see what I can do with my talent, skill, creativity, and hard work, and to know that someone, anyone, out there actually is a fan of what I would do, or what I've made or created, That’s what I want out of life.
