hmm cool, i do not understand it but it seems cool

basically it is a flying machine that flies by flapping it's wings like a bird. You power it up by winding the rubber band crank and that will spin the Crank attached to the wings thus causing them to flap like a bird. There have been several different versions but this is one of the more simplistic ones.

im gonna pretend i understand this and say that i think it may work but if your going to do some experiments be carefull and do NOT begin by jumping from a mountain or something, it may be better to begin with the roof of a tool shed or something
