Sneak Peak

[Flip Flapper]

I was looking up at the sun smiling brightly down at me. It was as if this day was just any ordinary happy day, but this day was different.
Despite the normal sounds of chirping birds and cars driving by, the sound of the small talk and the loud roars of engines. Screams and laughter.
This day was not a normal day, it looked and sounded like it. It even had the stench of human bodies, alcohol, cigarettes, food, whatever you could imagine.
I started scowling thinking about this world in front of me, it was disgusting, downright disgusting is what it was.
How could people go on happily like this with how bad things are? How can they live with themselves knowing there are thousands who suffer everyday?
The irony of this is that what im about to do will bring more suffering, but it will be worth it. The world will be a better place, not perfect, but better at least.
I took out my phone, unlocked it and dialed the number:
- It´s me, have you talked to him? I see..... in a couple of days you say? I need a more exact date then that.... allright see you there.
The other end hung up.
I looked up at the sun again not sure wheter i was doing the right thing.
- I guess there is no turning back now.
I finally said with a chuckle.
