A custom archetype I've had the idea for for a while now. I'd like to post it so I may both share it AND use it as reference for All Starts Pharaoh's RP idea.

The Dungeoneers are an archetype based entirely on Dungeons and Dragons. The main monsters in the deck are based on the core classes and share names with them, the Extra deck monsters are based and named after the Prestige classes. Spells and Traps are named and based on Magic, Feats and Abilities used by D&D characters.

Let's start with the monsters.

Dungeoneer Relic - Mythril Armor

Equip Spell
Equip only to a Warrior-type "Dungeoneer" monster. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed in battle by monsters with 2000 or more ATK. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by a card effect; you can destroy this card instead.



Dungeoneer Relic - Staff of the Magi
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]


Equip Spell
Equip only to a Spellcaster-type "Dungeoneer" monster. The equipped monster is unaffected by your opponent's Spell Cards. Once per turn; you can discard 1 card: target 1 "Arcane Spell" card in your Graveyard. Activate that card's effect. Once per turn; you can send the top 2 cards of your deck to the Graveyard: banish 1 card on the field.



Dungeoneer Relic - Holy Avenger

Equip Spell
Equip only to a LIGHT Warrior-type "Dungeoneer" monster. At the start of the battle step: if the equipped monster battles a DARK monster; destroy that monster without applying damage calculation. You can send this card from the field to the Graveyard: negate the activation of a Spell card and destroy it. If this card is in your Graveyard: you can banish 1 Spell Card; add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Dungeoneer Relic- Holy Avenger" once per turn.

Dungeoneer Relic - Bandages of the Seer
Equip Spell
Equip only to a "Dungeoneer" monster. The equipped monster cannot be targeted by monster effects except by "Dungeoneer" monsters. Once per turn; you can target 1 Set card your opponent controls: reveal it and Set it again. The targeted card cannot be activated in response to this effect.



Dungeoneer Relic - Chameleon Boots

Equip Spell
Equip only to a DARK "Dungeoneer" monster. The equiped monster can attack your opponent directly. If the equipped monster is targeted by a card effect; flip a coin and call it. If you call it correctly, negate that card's effect.



Arcane Spell - Glitterdust

Normal Spell
Activate only if you control a face-up Spellcaster-type "Dungeoneer" monster. Flip all monsters your opponent controls face-up. Flip effects are not activated at this time.



Arcane Spell - Magic Missile
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]


Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up Spellcaster-type "Dungeoneer" monster. Inflict 100 damage x the level/Rank of that. The selected monster cannot attack this turn.



Arcane Spell - Scorching Ray
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]


Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up Spellcaster-type "Dungeoneer" monster you control: Destroy up to 3 face-up monsters your opponent controls that have a DEF equal to or less than the ATK of the selected monster. That monster cannot attack this turn.



Arcane Spell - Raise Dead

Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up Spellcaster-type monster you control; Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard who's level is less than the selected monster's. The Special Summoned monster cannot attack this turn.



Dungeoneer's Fortitude

Quick-Play Spell
Activate only when a "Dungeoneer" monster would be destroyed by battle: that monster cannot be destroyed by battle this turn. You can only activate 1 "Dungeoneer's Fortitude" per turn.



Dungeoner's Reflex
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]


Quick-Play Spell
Activate only when a "Dungeoneer" monster is target by a card effect: banish the targeted "Dungeoneer" and return to the field in face-up attack position during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Dungeoneer's Reflex"  per turn.



Dungeoneer's Will
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]


Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 "Dungeoneer" monster and activate one of the following effects:
* The targeted monster is unaffected by Trap Cards this turn.
* The targeted monster is unaffected by Spell Cards this turn.

Dungeoneer's Power Attack
Normal Spell
Target 1 Warrior-type "Dungeoneer" monster you control. This turn, it deals double battle damage. You can only activate 1 "Dungeoneer's Power Attack" per turn.
